It was all change in Group F on Wednesday night as Paris go top thanks to their win over Milan, while Dortmund earned an away win at Newcastle. Meanwhile, Manchester City and Barcelona maintained their perfect starts to the Champions League. There were also important wins for Feyenoord, Leipzig and Porto. In another fascinating night in the Champions League, a number of teams bolstered their Round of 16 ambitions. Bayern beat Galatasaray while elsewhere in Group A, Andre Onana’s dramatic penalty save rescued a vital victory for Manchester United on an emotional night at Old Trafford. There were also wins for Real Madrid, Real Sociedad and Napoli, while Arsenal move to the top of Group B thanks to an assured win at Sevilla. 

It was another dramatic night of UEFA Champions League action, as Newcastle hit four past Paris St Germain at a bouncing St James Park, and Barcelona held on for a hard fought 1-0 win in Porto. Elsewhere, Man City and Lazio left it late to secure away wins over Leipzig and Celtic respectively, while the two early games were both five goal thrillers, with Atletico beating Feyenoord 3-2 and Shakhtar coming from two goals down to overcome newcomers Antwerp in Belgium.  We hear from Newcastle manager Eddie Howe, Atletico striker Alvaro Morata, and Pep Guardiola, Rico Lewis and Phil Foden from the Man City camp.

On a pulsating night of UEFA Champions League action, Galatasaray claimed their first ever win at Manchester United, whilst Madrid edged out Napoli in a five-goal contest.  Elsewhere, Bayern, Braga and Lens all came from behind to ensure three points, whilst Real Sociedad and Inter secured their first victories of the campaign. An extraordinary evening also saw PSV score deep into injury time to rescue a point against Sevilla. We hear from Real Madrid talisman Jude Bellingham, Lens’ Kevin Danso, Braga winger Bruma and PSV captain Luuk de Jong.

The remaining 16 clubs kicked-off their Champions League campaigns on Wednesday. Early on in the night, Jude Bellingham’s late goal dramatically sealed a win for Real Madrid over Union, while Galatasaray and FC Copenhagen played out a thrilling 2-2 draw. It finished all square in two other games but there were wins for Napoli, Salzburg and Arsenal, who capped their return to the Champions League with an impressive home win over PSV Eindhoven, 4-0. Plus, an extraordinary match in Munich saw Bayern emerge 4-3 winners over Manchester United. We hear reaction from Alphonso Davies, Mikel Arteta and Jude Bellingham.

Defending champions Manchester City had to come from behind as they started their title defence with a 3-1 home win against Crvena Zvezda – we hear from the scorer of their third goal Rodri. Barcelona, Paris and Feyenoord enjoyed comfortable home victories - we hear from Barca’s new striker Joao Felix who starred by scoring a double on his Champions League debut for the club. Elsewhere there were away wins for Leipzig and Porto, and we get the thoughts of Newcastle boss Eddie Howe, whose team earned a hard fought point in Milan. However, the moment of the night came in Rome, with Lazio goalkeeper Ivan Provedel scoring an extraordinary late header to earn his side a dramatic point against Atletico.

Manchester City overcame Inter Milan 1-0 in a closely fought Istanbul final to claim their first ever Champions League title. A second half strike from Rodri proved the difference as Pep Guardiola’s men sealed a historic treble. We hear from the match winner Rodri as well as City captain Ilkay Gundogan and a relieved Kevin De Bruyne who went off injured in the first half.

Manchester City put on an imperious display to progress to the Champions League Final at the expense of Real Madrid. City won 4-0 on the night, 5-1 on aggregate, to book their place in Istanbul. We assess the performance and look ahead to final on June 10th, hearing from City’s Pep Guardiola and Bernardo Silva, as well as Inter’s Denzel Dumfries.

A clinical second half Lautaro Martinez strike saw Inter seal a comfortable 3-0 aggregate win over neighbours AC Milan and reach a first Champions League Final since 2010. We look back on an enthralling all Italian semi-final and also look ahead to Wednesday’s mouth-watering last four encounter between Manchester City and Real Madrid, hearing from both teams managers, Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti.

First half goals from Edin Džeko and Henrikh Mkhitaryan put Inter Milan in full control of their semi-final showdown against city rivals AC Milan. Simone Inzaghi’s men put in a textbook away display in the San Siro to take a two goal advantage into next Tuesday’s second leg in the same stadium. We hear from Nerazzurri striker Edin Džeko who opened the scoring in Italy and Rossoneri defender Fikayo Timori.

Superb Vinicius Junior and Kevin De Bruyne strikes saw Real Madrid and Manchester City cancel each other out in an absorbing 1-1 semi-final first leg encounter in Spain. We hear from City manager Pep Guardiola and midfielder Rodri as well as Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, with all still to play for in the second leg next week.

Manchester City and Bayern played out an absorbing 1-1 draw in Munich, but it was the visitors who progress 4-1 on aggregate. Elsewhere, there were plenty of goals at San Siro, but it too finished all square between Inter and Benfica, with the hosts advancing 5-3 on aggregate. Hear from City’s Ruben Dias and Inter’s Denzel Dumfries.  Then, we look forward to two mouthwatering semi-final ties - a Milanese derby between Inter and Milan, plus a repeat of this stage last year, as City meet Real Madrid once again.

European heavyweights Real Madrid and AC Milan became the first two teams to make it to this season’s Champions League semi-finals. The 14 time winners saw off a spirited Chelsea side 2-0 at Stamford Bridge to win 4-0 on aggregate - we hear from Blues boss Frank Lampard as well as former Chelsea duo Antonio Rudiger and Thibaut Courtois. Elsewhere in the all Italian quarter final in Naples, Milan held Napoli to a 1-1 draw to progress 2-1 on aggregate – we get the thoughts of Milan’s English defender Fikayo Tomori and Napoli’s Slovakian midfielder Stanislav Lobotka.

Real Madrid defeat Chelsea 2-0 in Spain, courtesy of goals from Benzema and Asensio, to take control of their quarter-final first leg tie. Meanwhile, Milan surprise Serie A leaders, Napoli, by winning 1-0 at Stadio San Siro. Hear from Milan duo Brahim Diaz and Fikayo Tomori, as well as Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and Chelsea boss Frank Lampard.

As the Champions League returns for the quarter-final first legs, Manchester City impress by beating Bayern 3-0, thanks to goals from Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland. Elsewhere, Inter head back to Italy with a 2-0 advantage over Benfica in the tie after a strong showing in Lisbon - the goals from Nicoló Barella and Romelu Lukaku. We hear from City’s Pep Guardiola and John Stones, plus Inter’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

On the final night of the Round of 16, Karim Benzema’s goal was the difference as Real Madrid beat Liverpool 1-0, with the defending champions advancing 6-2 on aggregate. Meanwhile, Napoli sealed their spot in the last eight by beating Frankfurt 3-0 in Naples (5-0 on aggregate). We hear from Napoli's Victor Osimhen as well as Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

It was a record-breaking night for Manchester City and Erling Haaland, as the English Premier League side beat Leipzig 7-0 (8-1 on aggregate), with Haaland scoring five. Elsewhere, a goalless draw in Portugal was enough for Inter to book their spot in the last eight at the expense of Porto, thanks to their 1-0 advantage from the first leg. Two more sides confirmed their place in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night. Second half goals from Bayern's Eric Choupo-Moting and Serge Gnabry ended Paris' Champions League hopes. Elsewhere, a goalless draw in North London was enough for Milan to book their spot at the expense of Tottenham, thanks to their 1-0 advantage from the first-leg. On a pulsating night of action, this season’s first two quarter-finalists were confirmed!  Chelsea fought back from a 1-0 first leg deficit to progress at Dortmund’s expense, whilst Benfica scored 5 goals to complete a 7-1 aggregate victory against Club Brugge. The round of 16 first legs draw to a close, as Romelu Lukaku fires Inter to a 1-0 victory over Porto in Milan.
