Defense Against Verbal and Emotional Violence
31/03/2019 Duración: 59minHost Timothy Regan offers a list of things people say and do in order to control, dominate, manipulate, or abuse other people. Knowing the moves of emotional and verbal abuse and control helps us all be more free and empowered because it allows us all to catch them and name them when they are happening. When we can do that, we have the beginning of liberation, because when we see something, we are separate from it, and what we can name loses its power over us, so we can respond on our own terms. Special guest David Morton of Men Against Violence joins Timothy to clarify and explain the list. (Learn more here about Men Against Violence) Both Timothy and David offer tools and choices that you can use to help you be liberated from verbal and emotional oppression.
