With the recent violence on the Israel and Gaza border, we take a moment to reflect on the violence, and ask what, if anything, can be done. Try not to get too depressed as you join us! On This Week's Show.... Josh, Mike, and Tim welcome Matt back to the show for our inaugural recording in the “You Had Me At Beer” studio. The Canadian Human Right Commission was established in 1977 as a way to investigate and settle issues of human rights abuses in Canada in a legal and (somewhat) judicial matter. While they have done quite a bit of good, we still have to wonder about a few of their decision. Join us as we discuss if the concept of a seperate judicial process is needed for human rights abuse, and what, if anything, could replace the tribunal. Bonus Episode!​   Shawn, Tim, Mike, and Laura were having such a great conversation, that we felt we needed to keep it going for a few minutes longer. Recently, our member of Parliment, Irene Mathyssen, proposed the need for Canada to reinstate our postal banking system.     Mmm…Popeyes…   Shawn, being the political guru he is, was kind enough to talk about how postal banking works, and what some of the benefits would be. The fact that we had a fully stocked beer fridge did not enter in his decision to stay even longer. Enjoy!
