A continuation of lesson #3 on the Temple Body. In the second session we focus on the outward versus the inward man which are extensions of two temple bodies. These are commonly understood as the dual natures of man as in soul and spirit. Rather they are expansions of Paul's thematic eschatology of the old eon versus the new.

Paul presents life with Christ through transition from the earthly to the heavenly man, from the aeon of Moses to Christ. The heavenly man is the new covenant temple or house not made with hands. Drawing on texts from Genesis 2-3, Ezekiel 16 and 37, the covenant man, infused with the Holy Spirit breathes life into the New Covenant community.
