We're so glad you've joined us today at Hillsong Church in Africa. This is a very special and significant Sunday for us because we're going to be talking about the anointing, the anointing oil and what that means and what it represents in our lives. We are trusting, as you head from 2022 into 2023, that God's anointing is going to go before you, it is going to go behind you and it is going to bless you. Get ready and lets talk God's anointing for every single one of us.

The Church is meant to be counted as a community, a community that is deeply devoted to Jesus and to one another, and a community that demonstrates the love of God to anybody who encounters that community. Today we look at the story that is commonly known as a story about the Good Samaritan. As we unpack what it means to love our neighbour as ourself.

God invites us to partner with us to love humanity. He loves us so much all he wants to do is overwhelm us with his love. And in return, send us out to go and love a broken humanity. But sometimes we can find ourselves in seasons where we are so broken that we can almost be fearful. Today as part of our what’s love got to do with it series, we are coming around the topic of brave love and how God’s love for us can help us to overcome the fear of rejection, disappointment and hurt in our journeys of loving others.

Have you ever questioned your worth, your identity, or the price that Jesus paid for you on the cross? Today, through the story of Hosea and Gomer, we're going to be looking at the 'paid-in-full' price that Jesus paid for your life so that you could experience freedom. 

Have you ever wondered how you live as a Christian in a culture that is kind of different? Or maybe opposed to your faith? The Ephesians were dealing with that, and Paul writes a letter to them that gives them wisdom as to how to live in a world that is not really following Jesus. And ultimately that's what you and I are called to do.
