Ep. 178: The Red Pills Don't Always Go Down Easy, with Debra and Adam
12/10/2021 Duración: 01h10minMy guests this week are Adam and Debra from the . Debra is Adam's mother-in-law and comes from a neoliberal/progressive political background and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. She supported Obama, Clinton, Biden, and so on. Adam is from the libertarian space, and he discusses various ideas, current events, etc. with Debra to get her take on things. As they get into their discussions, he drops red pills on her and tries to get her to see the way things actually are. She has started to see things much differently after months of doing their show. I brought them both on because I love talking to them. I ask Debra and Adam some tough questions, and I think you'll love this discussion. Ep. 177: Grab Political Power and Use It Against Your Enemies, with Pedro Gonzalez
04/10/2021 Duración: 01h05minMy guest this week is the Associate Editor at Chronicles Magazine and one of the best voices on the Right today, Pedro Gonzalez. Pedro and I discuss the right's issue with state power. The Left has been able to grab power and willfully use it to win every battle and gain power over every institution in the country. Is it worth it for the right and libertarians to "stick to their principles" if it means losing every battle? If your principles lead to a world with less freedom, maybe it's time to examine your principles. We also discuss the US military and the fact that it is being run by low-IQ losers. The chaotic rot that has infested every State institution has also infected the military. Pedro and I discuss the impact that author James Burnham has had on his thinking along with what we should learn from Huey P Long. This is an excellent discussion, and I think you'll enjoy it. Ep. 173: Separation Over Persuasion, with Jeff Deist
07/09/2021 Duración: 01h30sMy guest this week is the President of the Mises Institute, Jeff Deist. We discuss one of the biggest silver linings that can be taken from 2020 and the COVID moment. It's time to take stock in what has happened and realize that trying to get a Rand Paul or a Thomas Massie elected at the Presidential level isn't time and money well spent. Is there a way in which we can choose to separate from the insane left rather than trying to persuade them with our abstract ideas? (Ideas that half of the population find abhorrent, to boot.) What can be done at a small local level? Can change be made there? We also discuss the need to have elite members of society push the ideas of liberty. Ep. 171: A Libertarian's Perspective on January 6th, with Jason Rink
23/08/2021 Duración: 01h09minMy guest today is documentary filmmaker Jason Rink. Jason was at the Capitol on January 6th 2021. He was filming a documentary called "The Steal" and ended up in the middle of a historical moment. The very next day, he got a one-on-one interview with the Q'Anon Shaman, who some of you may know better as "the Buffalo Shaman". At this point, Jason realized he had another documentary in the making, so he will now end up producing "The Steal" and "Q Sent Me" as separate documentaries. What happened there on January 6th? Why has the Federal Government used it as a new 9/11 to create draconian measures against US citizens? Were there weapons? Were lives in danger? What did the Q'Anon Shaman have to say about what happened? Are libertarians making a mistake by shunning anyone in the MAGA crowd? We discuss ALL of this and more. This is a great chat, and I think you will find value in it. Check out Jason's work here: https://www.thesteal.com ...and here: https://qsentmemovie.com Purchase tickets for the Renegade Unive

Ep. 170: A History of the American Left, with Thaddeus Russell
16/08/2021 Duración: 01h13minThis week, I welcome Thaddeus Russell back to the show. Thad is here to discuss the American Left. He is giving a course at Renegade University starting on August 23rd and going through September 13th. Thaddeus knows the Left quite well, as he grew up eyeballs deep in it and considered himself part of it for many years. In this episode, he goes over many aspects of leftism, from the abolitionists to communists and socialists to progressives to neoliberals and the nightmare we are witnessing today. The Left, at one point, fought the establishment and the powers-that-be. They now run every institution of power in the United States, and they now are the establishment. How did we get to this point? Did their "long march through the institutions" work perfectly? We talk about many names that you know: John Brown, Herbert Marcuse, BLM, the Black Panthers, the Clintons, Bernie Sanders, Kimberle Crenshaw, and more. Ep. 169b: Staying Optimistic, Despite the Times, with Jason Stapleton and Pete Quiñones
14/08/2021 Duración: 01h11minMy guests for this bonus episode are Jason Stapleton, of the Wealth, Power, and Influence podcast, and Pete Quiñones, of the Freeman Beyond the Wall podcast. In this discussion, we go over the many reasons people feel a sense of darkness and pessimism lately. For many of us, it feels like relationships are fracturing, pressure to comply is ramping up, and it seems to be getting worse. There are still a lot of great things happening, though, and now more than ever before, you can break out of the matrix and attempt to live the life you want. This is a casual conversation just going over the threats we face and the ways we can avoid them. I hope it will leave you optimistic, despite the madness around us. 10/08/2021 Duración: 01h13minMy guest this week is one of the driving forces behind the election audits happening across the country. He is Professor David Clements. David appeared on Tucker Carlson to discuss being targeted by his university for not having leftist views, and he briefly mentioned his studying of the election lawsuits. Well, Steve Bannon was listening and contacted him, which has lead to him taking deep dives into what happened with the election of November 2020 and just how deep the fraud goes. We discuss all of that, plus a lot more. David is a very interesting guest, and I think you will really enjoy this episode. 19/07/2021 Duración: 01h22minMy guest for this episode is the one and only Hotep Jesus. Ep. 165: The Neoreactionary Movement, with Charlemagne
13/07/2021 Duración: 01h17minMy guest this week produces wonderfully made YouTube videos on the philosophy of neoreactionism: the original brainchild of thinkers like Mencius Moldbug and Nick Land. Neoreactionary thought is often misunderstood and yet vitally important to understanding political power and philosophy. It has been incorrectly called the alt-right and even worse. Charlemagne and I discuss the roots of neoreactionary thought and what it means in terms of power and political reality. It sprang from brilliant thinkers like James Burnham and Hans Hermann Hoppe and has lead to new takes on Rothbard and Mises. This discussion will inform you and educate you on what it is, where is came from, and how to view politics through the neoreactionary lens. Ep. 164: Traditionalism and the Rise of the Populist Right, with Ben Teitelbaum
06/07/2021 Duración: 01h04minMy guest this week comes from the Left but authored a great book titled, "War for Eternity: The Return of Traditionalism and the Rise of the Populist Right". Much of this book focuses on Steven K. Bannon and a cast of Traditionalists from around the world. Ben and I take a deep dive into Bannon, as Ben had many meetings, lunches, and dinners with him and his inner circle. We get into what exactly Traditionalism is, what right wing populism is, and how they relate. Bannon is often smeared as dumb, racist, crazy, and more. Ben found him to be very smart, well-read, eccentric, esoteric, and influential. Much of the legacy media ignores the right wing populist movement and writes Bannon off as a powerless nut. Ben discusses how wrong they are to do that. The future of American politics as well as global politics may be heavily influenced by Bannon and the cast of characters discussed in his book. Ep. 163: We Are Becoming Less Intelligent, with Edward Dutton
28/06/2021 Duración: 59minMy guest this week is Edward Dutton, author of the book, "At Our Wits' End". Edward doesn't shy away from controversial topics. I come at this wondering why a discussion of the intelligence quotient going down over the decades would even be controversial. Edward Dutton goes through the methodology of IQ and explains the factors that have lead to its decline since the Industrial Revolution. We get into why this would be a contentious issue at all. We discuss the cyclical theory of history and where we may be in that process currently. IQ is trending downward, and it may get worse. Buckle up and enjoy this episode!
