My guests this week, like myself, both considered themselves libertarians at one point. They now, like myself, are Orthodox Christians. They are Matt Erickson, of the Kingpilled podcast, and Julie Mastrine. My guests and myself are not the only ones to journey on this path. Why is this a thing? What is it about Orthodoxy that attracts some libertarians. Is libertarianism compatible with Orthodox Christianity? Are we still using political labels at this point? This week, not only do I have a wonderful guest, but a great co-host as well! Julie Mastrine is back on the show, this time as my co-host. Our guest is Joseph Sciambra. His story will keep you glued to this one the entire time. Joseph was raised as a Catholic kid in the Bay Area. He was molested numerous times by multiple Catholic priests, starting at age 9. This continued through his teenage years and finally, he left the Catholic church in his late teens. In his twenties, he was living as a gay man in San Francisco, where he lived fast and hard for a decade. At age 29, he was so burned out, he went back home and joined the Catholic church again only to find more priests who were preying on vulnerable men. One of my favorite guests is back with us this week. That would be Father Turbo Qualls. Fr.
