Paul finds a potential “Game of the Year” contender in South Park: The Stick of Truth and Nathan watches a whole bunch of television including The Sopranos and True Detective. Also, we get serenaded yet again in voicemails!

A whole lot of television watching this week as Nathan runs down a few series, including the new hotness True Detective while Paul watches Space Dandy and starts his catching up on House of Cards. Paul gets back into the MMO scene by playing some Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and… World of Warcraft?! Also, an exclusive voice mail from a special listener has us questioning our sexuality.

This week, Nathan gets annoyed about The LEGO Movie’s warm reception, finishes off Attack on Titan season 1 and is reinvigorated with Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward. Due to the new release “Because The Internet”, Childish Gambino gets some discussion as well as reviewing music as a whole. Speaking of internet, Paul and Nathan go back to their pasts and recall their very early internet memories (you know, before it was cool). Also, why is Space Jam 2 even a thing?

Nathan has plans for Valentine’s Day so Paul calls in the SpaghettiCast. Just Cause 2 multiplayer is on the go but Ty finally gets into Borderlands while Paul tries out Blood Knights and loves the new Tomb Raider. Also, cheese on apple pie: good or bad?

This week sees our unlikely heroes talk with special guest Oni_Metsu from the Pixel Response community! Paul has been finishing The Office(U.S.) for whatever reason but not before watching Olympus Has Fallen. Nathan does some film-festing and watches Flash Gordon, Logan’s Run and Ghost in the Shell 2.0 on the big screen as well as continues the quest to watch more Attack on Titan. James (A.K.A. Oni) discusses his feelings on Bioshock Infinite’s ending and why he loves Deadly Premonition so much. Also, when did “games” become movies you press buttons to play?

Paul talks about doing a bunch of daily challenges for his favorite rogue-like games, Nathan gets really into 999 and Ollie Ollie. Paul gets his order of shirts and mugs while Nathan watches more Attack On Titan so we discuss anime as a whole and about how Simpsons was the only media to define culture at the time. Thrown in there are our thoughts on Jack Ryan, 21 & Over and World War Z. Also, we talk about how 2010 was the best year for video games.

Back like a John Hughes movie no one asked for, Paul and Nathan discuss the finer points of “Dude Ranching”, Nathan kind of hates Castle Doctrine and loves Attack On Titan (so far, anyways) and Paul gets into Risk of Rain. Things get weird when friend of the show Pan1cKnife comes on to talk with Paul and Nathan about furries, movie quotes and whatever we can think of as we drink ourselves to sleep. Also, Good Burger is the best movie in the “burger comedy” genre.

Paul’s been spending a lot of time playing Spelunky and going to see Christmas lights at the zoo while Nathan watches a documentary about a movie Anna Nicole Smith did that no one cared about (Illegal Aliens). Also, we go NSFW in the questions due to the “Pixel Response: After Hours” chatroom!

It’s the eve of the eve of a New Year and Paul and Nathan get together to recap the last little bit of 2013, including a very brief overview of their Games of the Year. Paul goes to see The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug while Nathan gets grumpy from seeing The Wolf of Wall Street and forgot all about Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Also, the two look back on some high profile deaths they were bummed about last year.

In this very holy episode of the podcast, Paul and Nathan talk about Christmas, family and the best movie of the 90s… maybe. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and will see you next year! Also, Hack the Planet!

We’re happy to welcome Tony Pomposelli (from Inside The IceHL podcast) to the podcast to discuss State of Decay, the problems of fantasy clashing with real life, Christmas and baseball movies and the awkwardness of running into people you know at work. Also, do we need reviews anymore? Really?

Well, here we are. 100 episodes, almost 3 years of podcasting and it comes down to… basically more of the same! Paul watches The Wolverine, Nathan plays Saints Row IV and the Spike.com VGX Awards happened. Also, stay tuned after the outro for Nathan’s exclusive review of Titanfall! We think the title says it all. All work, no play, something something… both Paul and Nathan are a bit more cynical than regular this week and unleash a four hour storm of call-outs and ranting. That being said, the get into some talk of State of Decay, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft and bitcoins after a newly introduced segment where we dissect some of Nathan’s more snarky tweets! Also, we’re kinda sorry if you’re offended. Not really though.

Nathan’s enthusiasm for Nintendo from last week gets fulfilled with the Super Mario 3D World and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds releases this week. Paul plays through Gunpoint and the two talk about console wars. Also, Paul has some conspiracy theories about Sony guerrilla marketing.

Nathan revisits Nintendo’s past by reading Super Mario: How Nintendo Conquered America and looks into Deux Ex: Human Revolution and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons to mixed results. Paul has a surprisingly decent time watching We’re The Millers and the two discuss topics that will likely anger others. Also, sushi is kinda great. Right?

Nathan talks a long time on Call of Duty: ghosts and Assassin’s Creed IV (weird, right?) while Paul doesn’t enjoy Beyond: Two Souls a whole lot yet. Nathan gets snarky about the infamy people gain from causing tragic events and ponders why terrorists don’t do the same. The two discuss Remembrance Day and question why only the heroic moments are remembered when it comes to war. Also, how many penises really ARE too much, Nintendo?

Paul drinks too much while waiting for Nathan to come home from work this week and is pretty out of it from the get-go. Thankfully, Carlos (AKA Handsomefatman, AKA Specssrk, AKA Axelhander) from Two Fat Guys Talk Gaming podcast saves the day by bringing his own brand of hilarity to the mix as the three talk about Playstation 4, handheld games, Nintendo failures, Killzone 3, Rocky Horror Picture Show, slavery and… “furries”? Also, kinda fuck David Cage… right?

Paul and Nathan share a lot of common ground this week. With the official, stand-alone release of The Stanley Parable, the two talk about the fallacy of subverting expectations of games by using the same expectations. Nathan isn’t impressed with The Wolf Among Us which gets Paul ready to argue (for whatever reason). Nathan loves Spelunky, Paul hated R.I.P.D. and the two talk about t-shirts with Nathan’s face on them. Also, the mental image of Paul saving Nathan’s life at 7-11 gets us cracking up.
