    21/04/2020

In the ever-evolving and changing experiment called Behind the Shadows (some small-ish, daily-ish thoughts about the world, light, and freedom) Episode 5 mixes it up a bit and talks about well… the most important question in the world.

  • Kids These Days (Part Three)

    06/03/2020

The kids are back! This time Ryan and (a very sick sounding Heidi) talk about a few small things with them including climate change, the education system, and healthcare. Small, easy topics.

  • Go Big

    28/02/2020

Some better language that might help to define the things that you’re feeling - especially nones, especially with family and friends who are not. It’s idols, freedom, cages, attachments, not knowing, and mystery and all that… but it’s really about getting bigger, bigger, bigger… always bigger, never smaller. That can be threatening but it shouldn’t be.

  • Nones are the Ones

    13/02/2020

A few encouraging words to the nones… from Ryan and Heidi… because we nones are the ones who might be hearing the song better than anyone. Right? Maybe…

  • Suwanee

    06/02/2020

Suwanee is a star and this podcast only scratches the surface of her amazing story and strength. Three moms. A leprosy colony. Bullying. Never fitting in. Caught between two worlds. Buddhist monks and a private Christian school. Yeah, it just keeps going. What an awesome human with an incredible life story.

  • Sexuality Part Two

    27/01/2020

It's such a big, complicated, topic that Ryan and Heidi had to split it into two. And that's just for starters. Esther Perel Girls and Sex - Peggy Orenstein Boys and Sex - Peggy Orenstein Podcasts: Esther Perel on Armchair Expert with Dax Shephard Peggy Orenstein on the Goop Fellas. • NGPA

    25/11/2019

Heidi and Ryan had an epic weekend with some members of the NGPA (National Gay Pilots Association) and had to talk about it. They learned some things, were humbled by some things, and were definitely inspired like crazy by some of the most amazing humans on the planet. There is still so much to learn but this conversation about the LGBTQ community will hopefully help us all keep moving.

  • Insipid

    01/11/2019

Systems, prisons, chains, blindness, fighting for relationships, feeling trapped, liberation, navigating the voices in your head about all of these things… insipid.

  • Be quiet?

    18/10/2019

Ryan and Heidi are back! For Season 3! It's time to get (even more) real and it starts with talking about when we're supposed to talk and when we're supposed to be quiet. When is it important and when is it not? What are the lines? It's complicated!
