We all worship something! We were wired to worship. But there is nothing of greater to worth to worship than God. In this message we talk briefly about why we worship and then Pastor Joel introduces and has a Q and A time with our new Worship and Creative Arts Pastor.

Nahum writes words of comfort to Israel as the destruction of Nineveh and the Assyrians is prophesied. This message gives us perspective on how to live and think as Christians as we await the return of Jesus and the final judgment of the world by looking at parallels between Nahum and Revelation.

Jonah is angry when God forgives his enemies, the Assyrians. Anger can lead us to keep the message of hope and repentance to ourselves rather than sharing it with those we call “enemies.” This message looks at God’s answer to that dilemma.

Have you ever complained to God about the injustice and evil you see in the world? Habakkuk brought his complaints to God and helps us know how to think and live as followers of Jesus when injustice is evident all around us.

In the final message of the Holy Spirit series we discover how our relationship with the Holy Spirit affects our prayers and how He guarantees our salvation.

We all understand what it means to be obligated to something. The Holy Spirit helps us understand how to transition our obligation to sin to an obligation to the God who purchased us and made us part of His family. Through the work of the Holy Spirit we learn how to say “no” to sin and join the family business of making disciples.

The Holy Spirit brings us life and peace in ways we can’t imagine when we walk in step with Him. Through the Holy Spirit we have freedom over sin and no fear of death, because He gives us eternal life.

10 Days after Jesus left earth and following round the clock prayer by the Apostles and disciples, the Holy Spirit came in power and the church was born! This message looks at Who the Holy Spirit and how to have a relationship with Him.

God’s Kingdom has immeasurable value! In this message we find that no matter what sacrifices have to be made in our lives, being part of God’s Kingdom is worth it!

Jesus teaches about the Kingdom using every day items for reference. In this message we find how some very small things grow in scale and what that means for the Kingdom of God in the world as an unstoppable force.

In the second part of the message “The Patient King” we find the heart of a King who doesn’t want anyone to perish. The ball is in our court to embrace His Kingdom or reject it.

God’s Kingdom is everywhere His rule and reign are experienced. As citizens of the Kingdom we need to understand the patience of the King to draw people into His Kingdom and our response to mimic our King.

When Jesus arose from the dead He made it clear that the invitation to follow in His steps still remained- even pursuing Peter to offer forgiveness for his failures so he could move forward as a Disciple.

The turning point of Mark’s gospel hinges on two questions Jesus asks: Who do people say I am? Who do you say I am? This message helps us identify who Jesus really is and what our response should be to Him.

Walking in the steps of Jesus means we learn who He is and who He is not. The narrative people often wanted for Jesus- be our king- is one He keeps avoiding. He is King- just not like people expected: He is the King who can walk on water!

As we follow Jesus we get to know Him more fully and we begin to figure out there is more to Him than we ever imagined! This message looks at 4 events which show the power of Jesus in the most desperate situations.
