In this sermon Symon explores the Sermon on the Plain in Luke 6. Luke shows us that the new kingdom that Jesus brings is good news for all the people who haven’t had any for a long time. The poor, the hungry, those who weep and those who are hated.

Symon explores Luke's stories of the tax collector Levi being called to be a disciple and then the party at Levi's house afterwards. 

You can simply see Jesus as a great miracle working showman by reading about the first three miracles in Luke 5, however, Luke doesn't want us to see a showman. By looking at each of the miracles a little deeper we have a deeper sense of who Jesus is & what he came to do.

In this sermon Symon explores the story in Luke 2 of Jesus being left behind in Jerusalem, while his parents travel toward Galilee. His parents realise he is missing after a day and travel back to Jerusalem, only to take 3 days to find him in the Temple, conversing with the religious leaders.

In this sermon Symon explores the events surrounding Jesus' birth, and in particular, Mary & Joseph's encounters with Simeon & Anna at the temple. Through the encounter, even at this stage in Luke's gospel, we see that Salvation does not come through a "what" or a "where", but a "who".
