The Geek Supreme competition is back with a new round of questions.  Should Marvel create their own convention?  How scary was that New Mutants trailer?  How scary was that Last Jedi trailer?  Does Emperor Palpatine need to be greased up? (Wait, how did that question get in there?) Listen to find out, and try not to throw up a little.

Last week, Darth Taxus asked the geeks to predict what My Little Pony: The Movie would score on Rotten Tomatoes. You'll hear the results and find out how much they know about the ponies.  They'll also discuss the new Sigmund and the Sea Monsters show that's coming to Amazon.  Plus, everyone will share what New York Comic-Con news caught their attention, including retro themes, comics, famous people in costumes, animation and more.  Then, we find out who has had the most embarrassing experience at a convention (Scott and Jeff make that a close one).  Finally, we'll play the geek version of Password - GEEKWORD.

Last week, Jeff and Regina engaged in a passionate disagreement about Star Trek Discovery.  This week we find out how that debate continued past the show and into text messaging.  We'll also learn if anything has changed since the second episode of the series was released.  In other TV talk, Scott reviews Young Sheldon and Regina shares her thoughts on Inhumans.  So, why is James Cameron making another Terminator?  Better yet, why is he continuously DUMPING on Wonder Woman?  Is it fair to pit Sarah Connor against Diana Prince?  David Bowie could've been the new Blade Runner villain, so Darth Taxus wants to know what other musicians would make great villains (and screamers).  The geeks will also react to Danny Elfman's comments about his approach to the Justice League soundtrack and make Rotten Tomatoes predictions for My Little Pony: The Movie.

Scott talks with Coby Bell about his role in the Fox/Marvel series 'The Gifted'.  They discuss the challenges his character (Jace Turner) faces while tracking the Strucker family.  They also work in some fun talk about comic-con and action figures.

This week's Geek Supreme is filled with comic book characters, science fiction and bullet holes (not to be confused with bullet hoes). Is Inhumans already cancelled?  Are we sill angry about Firefly? How good can The Punisher series be when compared to the other Netflix shows?  How much does Jeff know about Sabrina the Teenage Witch? And what did everyone think about the first episode of Star Trek Discovery?  Hint: Not everyone agrees.  Who will have the best answers to these and other geeked out questions? 

The battle for Geek Supremacy starts this week!  Scott, Jeff and Regina compete for points as Darth Taxus asks them questions about JJ Abrams directing Star Wars Episode IX, the idea of a True Lies television series, pictures of the new Hellboy and more. Along the way, the geeks will put their own director into a Star Wars movie, change their body colors and try not to laugh at Darth Taxus's jokes.  This first episode has a little bit of everything, including a very close game!

This week, Scott and Jeff discuss Weird Science, another memorable comedy by John Hughes.  Also, Anthony Michael Hall talks about what it was like working with Hughes and having to play Kelly LeBrock's love interest at such a young age.  If you choose to listen while wearing a bra on your head, we won't tell anyone.

Scott shares his report on the Star Wars Rebels Season 4 panel, and he explains why Star Wars Land reminds him of Westworld.  Matt Moore shares his report on the Lucasfilm Publishing and Marvel Comics panels.

Dan Zehr & Cory Clubb (Coffee With Kenobi) share their thoughts on the Star Wars 40th Anniversary Panel.  Caitlin Plesher (Skytalkers) talks about the Carrie Fisher fan event.  Fans react to the teaser trailer for The Last Jedi.

This week, we blast back to 1986 to the Ron Howard comedy - Gung Ho.  Scott interviews Gedde Wantanabe about playing Oishi Kazihiro in the film.  They discuss learning baseball from Clint Howard, management training programs, the bar scene with with Michael Keaton and much more.

This week, we'll take a look back at the 1989 John Hughes comedy, Uncle Buck. Scott interviews Jean Louisa Kelly, who played Tia Russell (Buck's niece) in the film.  She'll talk about the unforgettable experience of working with actors like John Candy and her passion for recording music.

Before we go see Rogue One and react to it, we take time this week to look back on the other movies we saw this year.  We talk about the movies we liked, the ones that disappointed us and the films we didn't get a chance to see. Other topics in this week's podcast include the new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer, the confirmation that Rogue One will NOT have an opening crawl, early impressions from 28 minutes of Rogue One, the announcement of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child coming to America and Spider-Man's classic costume upgrade.
