To be a people who grow in the ministry of intercessory prayer we must be a people of the book. Humbly coming to the book with open hands and open hearts asking God to reveal himself to us and to strip us of our tendency to read haphazardly, dispassionately, and unexpectantly. We must be a people of the word. And in tandem with being a people of the word, we must also be a people who are continually being filled with the Spirit.

The giver of life is the giver of all good gifts, the gift of prophecy included, and it gives him joy when we trust him and believe him and open up the gift he’s given us to use for the joy and building up of those whom he has purchase by his own blood here at SGC Dayton.

Psalm 119:145-152 instructs that our strength comes from a needy frame and posture. We have a need for prayer, for God’s Word, and ultimately God Himself, Who is near to us.

You can have hope that soars above sin, suffering, and death by having your heart exposed to the glory of Christ in his humble arrival.

True life is found only in receiving and living in the light of the glory of Immanuel, God with us.

God, whose faithfulness spans generations, invites us to act upon our promised future as those who believe that he will fulfill his word.

The trustworthy King has provided for your redemption…will you surrender all to him and trust him with your life and your family and your relationships and your finances and your future?

We can rejoice in the faithfulness of the King today being assured that he will surely present all who trust him as blameless on that final day.

The fire of God’s righteous judgment is coming, and the only way of deliverance is in Christ Jesus alone.
