Before we can resist the enemy and make Him flee - we need the Lord’s strength and not our own.   And the best way to acquire His strength is to rest in Him.   The most ignored attribute of good men in Scripture  As a youth and a believer, I (Sebastien) had a strong desire to become a good man. To that end, I believed that I could develop into one by:   Going to church Doing good unto others Being a good husband and father Working hard Being a servant-leader, etc.   Of course, these are all good things. However, what I didn’t know was that they are only part of the equation for the biblical definition of a good man. Furthermore, the Bible mostly tells us that we humans aren’t good. In Mark 10:18, Jesus said to the rich young ruler: "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone.” Which resonates with another well-known passage, which is Romans 3:12:   “They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.”   But, conversely, there are other passages which hint that goodness can be a human trait, such as Luke 6:45, where Jesus says:   “A good man

    Your Father wants His children to enjoy financial well-being    The Bible assures us that God has great pleasure in our prosperity. In Psalm 35:27 we read:   “The Lord be magnified, Who delights in the prosperity of His servant.” ~ Psalm 35:27   So many believers struggle with the fact that God really does want them to prosper.
