However, her time as Queen was tumultuous, and she faced many political enemies. She was accused of adultery and treason, and after a highly controversial trial, she was executed in 1536. Despite her short reign and tragic end, Anne remains a fascinating and controversial figure in English history. She continues to inspire novels, films, and television shows, and her legacy lives on to this day.
