Singing the O Antiphons with Zachary TurnerDecember 11, 2023Season 01, Episode 12Next Sunday, we enter the second half of Advent. Beginning on Dec. 17, the Church will sing the 'O Antiphons' as part of Evening Prayer. These antiphons use ancient biblical imagery drawn from the messianic hopes of the Old Testament to proclaim the coming Christ as the fulfillment not only of Old Testament hopes, but present ones as well.
