Sinopsis
Fighting Stigma is hosted by people who have lived experience of mental illness, and for the mental health sector. The show aims to make a difference in our community by breaking down the barriers that discriminate against people with experience of mental illness and their family whanau members, and ultimately change peoples attitudes and behaviour. The show focuses on the main three mental illnesses - Schizophrenia, Bipolar and Depression. All information is researched weekly to give listeners a better view of mental illness. The show offers a holistic approach towards the journey towards recovery, and features a range of guest speakers who support and promote the Like Minds Like Mine Project.
