    The FDA recently put out a report stating that Children receive more than 60 % of their calories from UPFs - Ultra Processed Foods. UPFs contain industrial formulations including chemicals, manufactured sweeteners, flavor enhancers, colorants, emulsifiers, thickeners, anti-foaming agents, bulking or gelling agents—to make them highly palatable, visually appealing, and shelf-stable. That all happens to also make food highly toxic to our bodies.     1 in 4 children in the U.S. lives with a chronic health condition (e.g., asthma, obesity, diabetes, ADHD, etc.). Asthma: Affects ~6 million children (~8.4% of U.S. kids). Obesity (ages 2–19): ~21% are classified as obese — one of the highest rates in the developed world. Type 2 diabetes in children: Increasing rapidly, especially in adolescents. Most common among children of color. The U.S. consistently ranks near the bottom among high-income countries for Infant Mortality Rate.
