It's A Gay Thing Dc

You may have figured it out by now, the "It's A Gay Thing DC" podcast is now defunct. We've taken the best of the DC show, our "It's A Gay World" podcast, and created the new "Swish Edition" that launches October 7, 2010 and will land on your computer or iPod every Thursday. Listen to this and find out more.

This might be the final episode of the DC show as you know it, but the new, national "Swish Edition" talk show begins in just two weeks, so no fear. In this episode, Dale, Scott & Jason welcome a whole crew to the studio to gush over how great the past year has been. Join Ana, Karen, Destiny, Rudy and Phil for a conversation you'll never forget. Oh, and you'll never eat Strawberry Shortcake again.

It’s the second to last DC show & we just had to have Steve Walker back. Together with Dale, Scott & Jason, the foursome tell tales from their adventures at Kings Dominion’s Gay Night; run down all the gay news; and, and have a serious conversation with in-studio guest Chip Lewis of the Whitman-Walker Clinic about their vital services as well as the upcoming AIDS Walk Washington.

On the September 9th edition, Dale & Scott welcome NOH8 Campaign founders Adam Bouska and Jeff Parshley to the show. They also chat with internet diarist (and shirtless bad boy) Davey Wavey. Jason brought along his friend Chris Yapur the cake guy to the studio, too.

For Sept 2, Dale has Michael Bolton in his iTunes, Scott has a "Brady Bunch" lunchbox, and Jason doesn't own any leather underwear even though he has over 300 pairs. Justin Bieber wants to remake the movie "Grease," gays can't get divorced in Texas, ABC announces their new "Dancing with the Stars" line-up, and the boys talk a lot about their big plans for October without actually saying anything.

For August 26, we welcome Steve Walker back to the studio to help the hosts and Jason discuss the issues and gossip of the day. And John Kane of the Miss Gay Atlantic States pageant joins us to chat with the reigning Miss Gay America, CoCo Montrese.

Episode 41 tries to get to the bottom of the EFN Lounge & Motley Bar closing; we're giving away two tickets to Monday's Scissor Sister's concert (act now!); we talk NPH's babies, a NYC gay resort, gays in the military, lesbians at Cobalt, gay marriage on hold yet again in Cali, True Blood gets gayer and bloodier still, and all the gay news, gossip, and silliness!

For our 40th, Dale & Scott bring you the red hot DJ Drew G. He has regular gigs in DC at Cobalt and at clubs in New York, Asbury Park, Los Angeles, and Philly, and is a quickly rising producer and remixer. Also up, zombies, the DC Housewives, Jane Lynch & Brent Everett news, foam machines, Brian's commercial, Scott yawns, and much more! Happy 40th to us.

This week, Dale, Scott & Jason welcome DJs Shea Van Horn and Aaron Riggins to the studio. They introduce us to unicorns, glitter, wigs & Shearon Van Riggins. The boys also talk about a certain DC blogger's recent arrest (and his dick), True Blood (yes, again), and all the full and innovative events Shea and Aaron are bringing to the DC scene.

For July 29, we present a split edition of the podcast. Dale & Jason hold down the fort while Scott calls in from the Jersey shore! Also, an interview with superstar music producer & remixer, DJ Dave Aude. He's worked with everyone from Sting to Lady Gaga and he'll be at TOWN next weekend for the first time. Plus, the winner of our underwear contest, Speed News, Events of the Week & much more!

For July 22, Dale & Scott welcome Robert Turner to the underground studio. He's the president of the DC chapter of the Log Cabin Republicans. We also have breaking MOVA news, a naked Enrique Iglasias, and a phone chat with YouTube sensation Ryan James Yezak who created the super-fun "California Gays" parody video. Summer in the City, people!

For July 15, the boys--together with Jason Royce--welcome fashion & recent "Playgirl" model Ronnie Kroell to the show. You might remember him from Bravo's "Make Me A Supermodel." He's a super nice guy and a humanitarian, too. Also, the hosts announce their big new underwear contest. What could be better than underwear? No underwear!

Episode 35 comes to you on July 8 and Dale & Scott just couldn't resist, they invited Steven J. Walker back to the underground studio where it was just as hot as it was outside. The trio discuss their 4th of July long weekends, the Queen of England, bed bugs, Big Brother, anticipating the naked pool, and oh so much more. If it's Thursday, It's A Gay Thing DC.

Episode 34 for July 1 brings you more summer heat! Dale & Scott are all alone in the studio for a change and they chat about their weekend on the Jersey shore, the gayness that is "True Blood," 4th of July plans, Joan Rivers, their conversation with porn superstar Brent Everett, dangerous lube, and Cirque du Soleil. Come burn with them.

For June 17, Dale & Scott do a post-Capital Pride review; they make sure Destiny B. Childs survived the crazy weekend; fun is made of Jersey Shore’s The Situation’s new rap song; they laugh about Jon Parks’ Madonna With Beard; they announce the winner of the Nationals Night OUT tickets; and, much more from the Top Secret Underground Studio in the Heart of Dupont Circle.

For June 10, we finally welcome Steven J. Walker to the studio along with Miss Capital Pride 2010, Destiny B. Childs. Listener beware! We talk Pride, The Price Is Right, IML, Destiny answers listeners' questions, we chat with the Homo-Erectus Dinosaur, and—along with TheNewGay.net's Zack Rosen and DJ vAnniety kills—we chat with DJ Lady Miss Kier of Deee-Lite fame.
