Short People is back just in time for halloween with a ghost story written and read by Stephanie Burell. 

A bonus Short People double feature. This week you get Two stories for the price of one! Hudson and Sam each read one of their earlier stories and are mercilessly grilled by special guest host Amanda Dash.

Guest Cody Hanna reads an excerpt from his in-process novel Halfway out of the Dark. Cody breaks our morbid streak by reading the first story on the show not to directly feature death!

This week our guest is Amanda Dash. She reads the obituary of Doreen Hammerfeld: Actress, philanthropist and plaintiff in several big box store lawsuits. Discussion topics include Starwars, Michael Dukakis and the Flat-earthers.

The First episode of Short People features a story read by the show’s co-host Samantha Lopez-VanOrmer. Samantha is a writer, roller derby athlete, and cat parent living in Lancaster, PA. She writes allegorical personal essays, absurd short stories, and white board poetry. Her story is called Blue Birthday.
