Digital Hunters are celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50 Award, which recognises the fastest growing technology companies in the United Kingdom. Measuring revenue growth over 4 years, the award is an objective recognition of outstanding company performance. In 2017, the top 50 recorded breath-taking levels of growth ranging from 5x to 1000x. Not surprisingly, winners attract significant global interest from investors and are offered many exit opportunities. Additional credibility from the award opens doors to enterprise level customers and helps attract top talent.Outstanding sustained growth leading to this award does not happen by chance. Key elements must be in place from the initial market opportunities to the delivery of the solutions that lead to exponentially increasing customer numbers.As former Director of Development at Orbis Technology, double winner of the award, I have interviewed fellow winners to celebrate both the 20th anniversary and to share just how we achieved our success. Each story is unique and inspiring, from a wide range of technology companies. Some creating powerful applications with leading edge AI technologies; others exploring the huge and still largely untapped potential of smart devices. These accounts are available both here in the Digital Hunters podcast series and the soon to be published book, Hunters in the Digital Age.Aspiring founders can learn many lessons. The key elements are evident for all to see.
