It's been a minute, we are glad to be back with season 5, a little emotional because we have been gone for some time. This season at CHT we will focus on black women, it is important for us to spin a couple of stories on the head. This Week’s Episode of Corporate HARD TALK. In this episode, Deborah chats with Kerry North a CSR professional. Deborah states “I met Kerry as a Project Leader of the O2 Think Big an initiative Powered by  O2 Telefonica supporting young people with funds for their start-up ideas. We learned on this episode that Kerry is from a STEM background but pursued a career in helping businesses do good through (CSR). Our conversation was very intimate we shared similar experiences of how teachers and the education system would sometimes shut young people down because of their academic strengths. In this episode, Deborah chats with Dele Momodu the CEO and Publisher of Ovation International Magazine. Dele spoke very candidly to us about his background most especially academic strengths in Yoruba and English (literature). He studied at the Obafemi Awolowo University, worked for free as a journalist, built his network, and time away from his home country Nigeria opened an avenue to create a magazine (platform) that celebrates and gives publicity to Africa’s crème de la crème. DCHT listeners, we talk a lot about networking on this platform, our conversation with Dele further explores and truly confirms networking is an art. Deborah states “as a young girl from Nigeria growing up in South East London, Ovation magazine would catch my eyes on the newsstand.
