Sinopsis
The West Wing! Because I'm always late to the party, here in March of 2018, I've just started watching The West Wing. This podcast will be my general thoughts - mostly parallels about "then" and now.

America is Still the Greatest Country in the World
03/04/2018 Duración: 16minI'm on Episodes 9-11 of Season 2 and they are all great for different reasons. 9 reminded me of why I love my country. 10 is a very well done episode for lots of reasons, and 11 shows us that even though this is a fictional show, it's not impervious to the nonsense that goes on in Washington DC. I grandstand a bit, so if you're into rants, this is a good one for you.

Well it *is* Good Friday...
30/03/2018 Duración: 17minIn this episode I cover Season 2 Episodes 6-8. Religion comes up a lot in this episode of the podcast. I also lament about representation, later walking it back as I describe what a democratic republic is.

The Way We Hope a President Would Be
28/03/2018 Duración: 15minEpisodes 3-5 are up and we're looking at the post-shooting White House. I talk about the midterms, how the staff is working in Season 2, and of-course, Ainsley Hayes.

OH MY GOD NOT JOSH; the Season 2 Premiere
26/03/2018 Duración: 15minWell I'm into Season 2 and the first 2 episodes were a doozy. We find out quickly that the president is hurt but will be OK and so is Zoe...but we also find out about Josh. I wax poetic about how well done this episode is, character building, and some general thoughts on what this episode would mean for today's world.

Season 1 Finale: I can start Season 2 if I really want to
23/03/2018 Duración: 13minWell I was partially right in my prediction for the Season 1 Finale. The threat against Zoe is addressed. This was one of my favorite (and super suspenseful) episodes. Here are my thoughts on it, as well as thoughts on my ability to not have to wait 4 months to see what happened.

Chess Games & Hard Conversation
22/03/2018 Duración: 13minI'm in the home stretch of Season 1 and we're getting more personal with the staff (at least I feel that way). The episodes are balancing a focus on policy with personal life more. The staff gets into some hot water and I have some predictions about the finale.

A Show That Gives Us Both Sides of the Argument
20/03/2018 Duración: 14minI cover Episodes 16-18 here! It's all about flag burning and issues still plaguing us today, how much I like the staff, and the fact that I'm happy and sad that a fictional show provides us both sides of an argument, and seems to be the sole source for it.

Season 1 Tackles the Hot Button Issues
19/03/2018 Duración: 15minAfter watching Episodes 13-15, I have some thoughts on recurring political arguments, how a certain episode would fly in today's climate, and I compare President Bartlett to the current POTUS.

West Wing: S1 E1-12
15/03/2018 Duración: 16minHere's why I started the podcast and my thoughts on the first half of Season 1.
