The War on Marriage: Why Biblical Roles Are Under Attack. This week Danny takes us through Ephesians 5 'Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. This week Danny takes us into Ephesians 5. 1-3 with a call to live differently "Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]; and walk continually in love [that is, value one another—practice empathy and compassion, unselfishly seeking the best for others], just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and sacrifice to God [slain for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance. But sexual immorality and all [moral] impurity [indecent, offensive behavior] or greed must not even be hinted at among you, as is proper among saints [for as believers our way of life, whether in public or in private, reflects the validity of our faith]." Ephesians 5: 1-3 Amplified

This week Steve takes us back into Ephesians with our Foundations of Faith series looking at Ephesians 4:25-32 - Legalism, Lies & Anger. 'Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. “In your anger do not sin” : Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need. and do not give the devil a foothold. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.'

This Sunday, we welcomed John Ford as our guest preacher. John is based with his family at Kings Church Kingston, has been involved in church planting in Türkiye, and serves as part of Unreached Network, a movement within the global New Frontiers family that supports cross-culture mission to unreached people groups. He preached on the unique opportunity and unique blessing we have access to living in the current "Age of Migration" trend happening across the globe.

Danny takes us through Ephesians 4:17 Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds.

Danny closes out our series on "Adjust Your Brightness" preaching from Daniel Chapter 3

Steve take us through Daniel 2 where Daniel (and all the wise men) were under pressure of death to explain the King's dream of a statue being torn down by a rock. Daniel explains to the King that God has given him the authority to rule as God is the ultimate authority above all kings and kingdoms. “In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. Daniel 2:44 Steve explains God's Kingdom will outlast and crush any other Kingdom just like the dream explained to King Nebuchadnezzar. We need to put out faith in Jesus as His kingdom will last forever and every kingdom here will pass.

This week Danny continues our new Series "Turn up Your Brightness" talking about walking in the power of God's Spirit and not being seduced by the spirit of Babylon.

This week Joseph continues our series on Ephesians and looks at chapter 3 verses 3-6 - "The Greatest Mystery" 'For this wonderful mystery, which I briefly described, was given to me by divine revelation, so that whenever you read it you will be able to understand my revelation and insight into the secret mystery of the Messiah. There has never been a generation that has been given the detailed understanding of this glorious and divine mystery until now. He kept it a secret until this generation. God is revealing it only now to his sacred apostles and prophets by the Holy Spirit. Here’s the secret: The gospel of grace has made you, non-Jewish believers (outsiders), into coheirs of his promise through your union with him. This week Debbie Cox takes us into Ephesians 3 and looks at Paul's dangerous radical prayer in Ephesians 3:14-21. We looked at the dangerous prayers of Desmond Doss shown in the movie Hacksaw Ridge who saved 75 men without firing or carrying a gun. "By constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life" Ephesians 3:17 TPT

This week Danny takes us into Ephesians 2, and tackles a tough but important topic - total depravity and the effects of sin. "Sin hasn't spare a single part of us. It's seeped into everything, our thoughts, our feelings and wants. Every corner of our lives has been tainted. This goes deep right to the core of who we are". Danny covers the 3 enemies 1. System and culture of the world 2. Satan our accuser actively working to intimidate & bring fear 3. The flesh - our desire to gratify our selfish human nature Danny also said most times "we don't think we need to be saved by God, we only think we need some help from God". Things actually are worse that we care to admit and we need saving.

This week Steve continues our series in Ephesians with "Open the eyes of our hearts"

When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory."

The central point of Paul's letter to the church in Ephesus is what God did through the historic work of Jesus Christ, and continues to do through the person of the Holy Spirit through every believer in His church.
