This week Danny takes us deeper into the book of John to the famous passage of Jesus talking about how we need to "abide" in Him to be fruitful. Danny outlines some beautiful truths from the passage. 1. Even if you are fruitful, you will go through pruning 2. We can be satisfied & settle for average instead of expecting more fruit 3. You cannot build trust without stability. 4. You are not supposed to make yourself grow 5. The gospel must be preached to warn us. 6. Fruit is to glorify God not people.

Steve Alliston takes us through Mary's song of praise also known as The Magnificat, when Mary finds out she's pregnant with the son of God her soul was ecstatic and overflowed with praise to God. "Let it be as You want Lord" is Mary's attitude. Her love for God flows from the inside out. She was singing praise regardless of the personal reputational risk she faced as having fallen pregnant outside of marriage. Steve talks about how praise is able to change our hearts and open our hearts and allows us to become more hungry for the good things God has for us. We have much to learn from Mary. Key scriptures Luke 1:38 and Luke 1:46-55.

This Sunday we were delighted to host New Frontiers founding father Terry Virgo. Terry closes out our series on the Holy Spirit "The Giver and His Gifts".

Ken Davis this week shares both scripture as well as his own personal experience in understanding the Holy Spirit.

This week, we welcomed a guest speaker, Tito, to talk through how the power of the Holy Spirit can change lives irrevocably. He shares a testimony of what God has been doing in Portugal through the members of the church we relate to there. How they are impacting lives of young people with mental health issues for good.

This week Danny talks through 1 Cor 12 God helping each of us with a gift from his Spirit. He challenges us to serve and be a blessing with "who will we bless this week?" Acts 20:24a "life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus".

This week Steve kicks off our new Series on the Holy Spirit called the Giver and His Gifts. This sermon series is from Luke 11 verse 13 "Even though you are evil [that is, sinful by nature], you know how to give good gifts to your children. How much more will your Father who is in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!". We need to have a healthy biblical understanding that we are a spirit filled people on His mission.
