(Daniel 1&3) You never know what life will bring you but you can prepare yourself now for whatever may come your way.

(Ephesians 4:1-16) You cannot live a meaningful life in isolation. A Life that counts requires connections with other people.

(1 Timothy 6:17-19) Viewing our wealth in the context of eternity loosens our grip on our stuff, which in turn loosens its grip on us.

(Eph 5:15-17; Prov 3:5-7) Though pain and trouble may come our way through no fault of our own, most of the circumstances of our life emanate from decisions we've made. Every decision and its outcome become a permanent part of our life's story. Fortunately, God tells us how that story should read, and how to write it.

(Colossians 1:9-14, 28-29)  Teach me, Lord, to see my days in the bigger picture... from the perspective of eternity.

(John 9:1-41)  The circumstances of life can sometimes leave us confused. But Jesus always meets us right where we are.

(Psalm 90:1-12) Life doesn't have a rewind button. It is always played forward, so it's important to get it right the first time.

Pastor Ken Jensen kicks off 2011 with some words of encouragement. He also has three special guest speakers from the church share their thoughts on 2010 and their preparation for getting started in 2011. 

(John 1:1-18; 10:9-10) Jesus didn't come to have us join a cause, ascribe to a set of values or adopt a creed. He came to give us life.

(John 1:1-18) Most religions agree that there is an ideal of right and wrong. Most agree that all of us fall short of the ideal. But only Jesus provides what is truly missing: Grace.

(John 1:1-18; 1 John 1:1-4) It is the nature of light to be revealing. As the "Light of the World" Jesus makes things clearly visible.

(John 1:1-18, Hebrews 1:1-3) Throughout human history God has been speaking. Now, in Jesus, He fulfills all that He has been saying for centuries.

(Acts Ch 6-7) At some time in your life you may have an opportunity to declare yourself to be a follower of Jesus Christ. When that time comes you will surely require a kind of boldness that can only come from the Holy Spirit, like the boldness that Stephen had toward the end of his life.  

(Matthew 5:16) Our life in Christ is not “compartmentalized” to a Sunday service – it is who we are, 24/7. Our everyday lives, our interactions with other people, our behavior and our activities are a reflection of Christ within us. Matthew 5:16 says, "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." Pastor Larry Davis continues in the series and teaches us how we can each be a light "on location" in our everyday lives.

(James 1:27) Pastor Larry Davis shares his humorous and heart-felt story of how he and his wife, Michelle, came to adopt their son, Malachi, from Ethiopia. Their humorous story includes numerous times when they put their faith to the test only to see incredible miracles result. It is a wonderful message of love and anticipation as this young family works through all the issues involved with adopting a young child from a country so far away.

(Matthew 5:13-16) The message of God's grace is a message that cannot be delivered only with words. It must be delivered with our lives.

(Acts 17:16-28) God has reconciled us to Himself and given us the message of reconciliation. But it won't be heard until we take it on location. 

(Genesis 32 and 33) When family relationships are painful or strained, we may want to write them off. But deep within we need that connection.

(Luke 12:16-24) We've all done things that we regret. Even after receiving God's forgiveness we can still have a hard time letting go of our shame.
