Bob Kilpatrick, a well known author and worship leader, visited Northgate recently, bringing a special time of music, humor, and an inspiring message.

(Mark 12:13-17) Jesus used a controversial question about taxes to help delineate the roles of faith an government for a believer. 

(Jonah 3:1-4:11) Receiving grace is far easier than extending it. But we don't truly understand God's grace until we have to extend it to others.

(Jonah 1:17-2:10) Sometimes we have to hit bottom before we start looking up. But God's mercy and grace meet us right there at the bottom.

(Jonah 1:1-17) Each of us, at one time or another, has run from God. The good news is that God doesn't give up the chase.

(Luke 18:18-27) The point is you're rich and I'm rich and that puts us at a serious disadvantage. Jesus says it is so hard for the rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Earlier this year, Pastor Larry Davis and Ric Small traveled to Uganda to visit the village that Northgate sponsors. They met the children that they personally sponsor as well as lived among the people there for several weeks. The experience changed their perspective on life and on how God works in the lives of his people no matter where they happen to be.  This message captures the insights and experiences that Pastor Larry and Ric brought to the church body during the 11 am service.

(Galatians 5:13-26)  "The best way, the only way, finally, of expressing a life of freedom is through an act of love." Eugene Peterson

(Galatians 5:1-14) God's desire is not that we perform the right actions but that we become the right kinds of people. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. 

(Galatians 3:21-4:6)  God's desire is not that we perform the right actions but that we become the right kinds of people. When religion becomes a relationship it changes how you relate to scripture, to others, and how you relate to God.

(1 Corinthians 15:3,4,11) Easter Sunday "Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, he was buried, that he was raised on the third day... this is what we preach, and this is what you believed."

(Galatians 3:1-22) "Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by human effort?" Galatians 3:3

(Galatians Ch 1&2) "Some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ." There's a huge difference between religion and Grace: 1) Religion demands performance, Grace offers acceptance. 2) Religion focuses on Conformity, Grace promotes Authenticity. 3) Religion insists on Obedience, Grace gives freedom to live. 

(Matthew 28:16-20, Acts 1:1-9; Matthew 16:17-19) Pastor Ken Jensen takes time to share a number of key thoughts and a few personal reflections during a Sunday morning gathering in the worship center as the congregation celebrates the 20th anniversary of Northgate Christian Fellowships presence in Benicia.  

(Mark 2) Do you ever pray knowing that God CAN answer, and hoping that that He WILL answer, but secretly feeling that He probably WON'T answer?

What would your life look like if you made prayer a focus?

Few things inhibit our prayer like unanswered prayers. How can we still pray when God seems silent?
