Transformational. The strength to face every challenge in life, especially with Christ-like power, requires more than we can manage on our own, but as we learned last week, the Holy Spirit is the power and presence of God. In this message we learn how to discern the ultimate work of the Spirit in our lives. John 16:5-15

Living a life fully-alive and filled with faith in Jesus isn't easy in a world so battered and bruised by sin. The strength to face every challenge with Christ-like power requires more than we can manage on our own. But we are not alone, and we are not left powerless in our pursuit of faithfulness. The Holy Spirit is ever with us, providing all we need to take the next step toward abundant life. John 14:15-21

Psalm 46. Being surrounded can make us feel trapped; it can leave us filled with fear, worry and a deep sense of hopelessness, especially when there seems to be no way out. What do we do when life backs us into a corner and fear surrounds us? Where can we run and find rescue? Where is there a refuge?

Better Than... The church, as the expression of the Kingdom of God on earth, must strive to dismantle the cultural barriers, that in turn, become barriers for the Gospel. In this concluding message we look at a key principle for dismantling walls and having unity through diversity. 1 Corinthians 12:1-13

My Way. We tend to view others through labels and categories. From gender differences to cultural biases, there are many distinctions that tend to divide us rather than unite us. John 4:1-34

Level. Equality has long been a cultural buzzword. How do we understand it from the position of the church? Galatians 3:26-29

If you were to ask God what He thinks of you what do you think His answer would be? What would be the basis of His answer? If there was a way of knowing how God measures His love towards you would it make a difference in the way you live? In this concluding message we bring to the forefront a Scriptural truth that bears repeating again and again. It’s easily forgotten, not because we don’t know it, but because we struggle to truly believe it.

Why Me Lord? According to Murphy's Law: anything that can go wrong will go wrong. At times life can feel like absolutely everything is stacked up against us. Is it luck? Is it fate? Or is it something else? More importantly, how can we find a way forward when it feels like even God is against us? Psalm 77

Unexpected Outcome. We can’t always control the people or the circumstances that surround us, but we can control not only our response, but the way it frames our story. Genesis 50:14-21

I Want It Now. We’ve all made bad decisions that hurt those we love and later fill us with regret. Is there a way back or are we forever to be marked as damaged goods because of mistakes in our past? Luke 15:11-32

My Dad Said So. Christmas is a season of expectations. Whether it’s pragmatic desires or spiritual ones, we all bring our own wish list. In this message we look at the expectations and lessons learned by one observer of the first Christmas. Luke 1:67-79

Profit Statement. We all wonder about the future? Will it be better or will it be worse? What if the best answers concerning the future lie not in the present but in the past? What if there is one piece of history that makes the future our greatest source of hope? Micah 5:1-5b

Deserving. Is there a general posture to prayer? Is there a script, a time of day, or even a liturgy that gains the ear of God more than others? We naturally want our prayers to be answered, but could there be a priority to what God hears? Luke 18:9-14

Never Give Up. We naturally admire those who persevere under incredible odds. They succeed despite the challenges they face and make a difference where others fail. What is true as a general life principle is also true in our spiritual lives as well. The ability to trust God and to persevere in praying, despite what we see around us, is one of the hardest disciplines to maintain. Luke 18:1-8

Global. It is almost surprising the amount of hatred generated over simple belief. Yet, for many around the world, their lives are in constant peril because of their faith in Jesus. John 15:18-27

Rejected. We all make choices, some for good, some not so much. Our choices are often an indicator of our hearts true intention. Luke 20:9-19
