Mark Kaboly says that the Steelers are content with going into the season with Calvin Austin and Roman Wilson as the compliments at wide receiver for DK Metcalf and are not actively shopping for a WR2. The guys discuss if this is the right move(it is not).

Adam Crowley had a birdie tell him that the Steelers checked in on Jakobi Meyers. Should Steelers fans get their hopes up in finally getting a wide receiver two? Aaron Rodgers talked about his targets for this season. Apparently the Steelers want the Raiders to take on some of Meyers' deal for a potential trade. But why? Do they want to use other money for Cam Heyward or other targets? Adding Meyers makes the two tight ends the Steelers have a cherry on top of two solid wide outs. Poni says that if the Steelers want to be taken seriously in the AFC, they need to make the Raiders an offer they can't refuse.

More reaction to the Steelers 53-man roster with a few surprises. Skylar Thompson will make the initial roster with Will Howard going on the IR ‘at some point.’ The Steelers cut Beanie Bishop after he was the camp darling of 2024 and finished the season with 4 interceptions. Steelers film junkie Derrick Bell from Pittsburgh Sports Now joined the show. Derrick was a little bit surprised by Skylar Thompson making the roster, but he made it difficult to deny. Derrick thinks Will Howard could have a solid, backup QB career, but is hesitant on saying he’d be a ‘good’ starting QB. Derrick got more into Howard’s game and what he likes/doesn’t like. Derrick gave his take on some of the receivers that are on the open market after cut-down day and if the Steelers will kick the tires on any.
