Morning Manna

I'm back on the road again! I picked up my car with it's brand new engine yesterday. Thanks so much for those who prayed for that moment. Let's talk about the road today from the words of Jesus.

Have you ever felt overwhelmed. I sure have and something that I read by Tim Tebow brought me just the encouragement and the reminder that I needed. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

For centuries believers in Jesus have suffered persecution for their faith. Even today in many parts of the world believers are experiencing this. How would you handle it? Be blessed today by the words of Jesus when He said; Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Good morning! I've got a morning declaration for you from Psalm 92. May I encourage you today to do three things... first, after listening today, give thanks to God, second, declare His loving kindness to you and third, before you go to bed tonight, declare His faithfulness to you through this day. Oh... and don't forget to choose joy!

Did you ever have a secret place or a hiding place growing up... a place where you felt safe and protected? David had a secret place and he talks about it in Psalm 91 and we have that same place today. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Psalm 87:7 says this; Both the singers and the players on instruments say, “All my springs are in you.” I loved visiting so many springs growing up in Florida. They were places of refreshment, beauty, coolness and joyful. God has a spring for you today. Enjoy His presence and be refreshed and renewed today.

It's great to be comforted by God... right? But think about this... there is something about comfort that cannot be fully realized until it is shared with someone else. So... Pass It On!

Hosea 10:12 says; Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you. When a fireman enters into a burning structure seeking to rescue, he say out loud; "Fire Department Call Out!" I can hear our Heavenly Father saying to us today; "Call Out." May I encourage you to call out to Him today. He knows what you need and His desire is to meet that need today.

Enjoy Psalm 84 this morning. Even the sparrow has found a home, And the swallow a nest for herself, Where she may lay her young— Even Your altars, O Lord of hosts, My King and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; They will still be praising You. Selah

Psalm 81:10 says; “I am the LORD your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.” This was George Mueller's favorite verse in the Bible. He said this about it - "The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety. Faith does not operate in the realm of the possible . . . Faith begins where man’s power ends."

It so easy during struggles to forget God's blessings and his provision for you in the past. There's such powerful admonition in God's Word to remember what He has done. Focusing on that will take you through the most difficult of times. So today... Remember!
