Three Drink Minimum Podcast #12: Mike Williams should be the offensive rookie of the year
17/12/2018 Duración: 47minBack with episode 11-3. Another victory that was truly never in doubt. My guess is the Chargers are doing this because they’re so tired of hearing “who have you beaten” that the good teams they do face they get down big and mount a comeback as a giant eff you to those that think the Chargers are not good. Newsflash: They are. Going through the game like usual, here were some of the topics I touched on • Mahomes being a wizard early on • Pressures vs. sacks • Chiefs DL having their way with the Chargers OL • Is something wrong with Pouncey? He’s struggled the last month • Big plays kept the Chargers in it early on • Addae being delusional • Run blocking was actually good • Justin Jackson runs hard and deserves to have a role • Chiefs decision to guard Mike Williams all night with 5 foot corners • Rivers predetermining downfield throws at times • Defense came to play in the 2nd half. Pass-rush came alive • Addae never making a play on the ball • Mike Williams the best WR in team histo

Three Drink Minimum Podcast #11: Philcember: It’s good to be back
03/12/2018 Duración: 34minPhilcember: It’s good to be back Man, what a game. This recap was fresh off of the game, so the thoughts are a little more scattered than recent weeks. Like usual, we take it step by step on how the game happened. Tough to imagine a worse start than the Chargers had. Head coach Anthony Lynn thinking that three points would make a difference to start the game was the ultimate head-scratcher. A 50-yard field goal at Heinz field at night is not one of the smarter things you can do. That’s despite the yardage you need. At that point in time, it was 4th & 1. At that point, Rivers was 31 for his last 31. Like, come on, coach. As soon as Badgley missed, you knew the Steelers were scoring. From there: • Derwin • Refs • Justin Jackson • Game never in doubt • Random questions along the way • Bosa sack • Des punt return • Momentum is real And a whole lot bunch of other talk recapping a game that absolutely took two years off of all of our lives. Three Drink Minimum Podcast #10: Can the Cardinals beat ‘Bama?
26/11/2018 Duración: 27minBack after yet another blowout win. This one didn’t start as smoothly as most expected. The Cardinals jumped out to a 10-0 victory. Talked a little bit about the Chargers slow start. Here are some of the other topics that I hit on • 45 unanswered • How the Chargers got big production from each of their last 4 1st round picks • Philip Rivers choosing to not throw an incompletion until pass 26 was a good idea • The offensive line has quietly struggled over the last month • Melvin Gordon injury • The stupidity of the trick plays • Travis Benjamin running like his job depended on it • Rookie Jatavis Brown is back and here to stay • The defense gave up 2.4 yards per play through 3 quarters • Justin Jackson • Casey Hayward rounding back into form at the right time • Steelers Learn more about your ad choices.
