A few years ago, I buried my grandmother.  As I kissed her cold, lifeless body laying in the casket, I became painfully aware that the body is not who we really are.  The essence of my grandmother was not in that body laying there.  She was gone, even though her body was right there that I could touch. This body is not the real you, but how we care for it is how we experience this side of eternity, this side of reality.  It is through this body that we interact with others, and even though my grandmother's body was still around, she was absent. So, caring for this body is important because without it, we cannot interact with others.  As much as I would like it, that body laying in that casket could not jump up and give me a hug - because it was only a housing, and the housing had collapsed. Christians in business or management this is for you.    The parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:24-27, or the equivalent version on the Minas in Luke 19: 12-27, talks about managers who received money to run their boss' business in his absence. Upon his return, he called them to account for their activity and the one who got one (talent / mina) had buried it, and returned it in the exact condition received.  The manager who got two,  had made a 100% profit of two more; and the manager who got five, also made a 100% profit of five more. The manager who got one, and returned the one, was berated for being a "lazy, wicked servant", and the one talent he did have, was taken from him and given to the one who had five.
