On this day, the 9th anniversary of his ordination, Father Dave explains where a huge source of joy has come from in his nine years of the priesthood: tending the flock. Ascension Thursday. As amazing as it must have been to see Jesus rise up into Heaven, we need to concentrate on the ground-level, day-to-day work at building our kingdom through our faith and our church. Sixth Sunday of Easter. Jesus mandates in today's readings to "love one another." But we might find this difficult from moment to moment and day to day. We pray that indeed, God's love in us will endure through our lows and highs, our trials and tribulations, our best and our worst, forever. Divine Mercy Sunday. Father Dave reminds us that we shouldn't block out those who are doubting like Thomas, or those who happen to think differently from us.
