  • FD 153: Pulling Out and Condom Usage, Racial Dating Preferences

    15/09/2015 Duración: 01h11min

Controversy! That's what happened when two articles came out last week and made the social media rounds, and we're here to un-controversy them for you. Helping me out this week is podcast virgin and improviser Annie Con, and returning tattoo champion Sonia Vaynerman. The first article in question concerns the efficacy of pulling out vs. using condoms in preventing pregnancy, which as it turns out, are equally as effective in practice. This caused quite a social media poopie-storm when I posted this on Facebook, particularly because some people thought I was saying that pulling out prevents STIs. Next up: RACE! This little think piece talks about why stating "No blacks" isn't a dating preference, it's racism. The article, however, goes on to assert that essentially having any preference or discernible pattern when it comes to the race of people you date basically makes you an awful, terrible racist. Once again, we solve the internet.

  • FD 152: Peter Kim on Comedy, Being Closeted, and White Privilege

    08/09/2015 Duración: 02h01min

This week improviser and comedian Peter Kim steps into the bedroom. Peter is the founder of Endgames Improv, an improv training and performance center in San Francisco. But it was a complicated and repression-filled road before Peter, who now lives and performs in Chicago, was able to become the comedic presence that he is. We begin by talking about Peter's upbringing in New York in a conservative Korean family. Despite Peter being gay, he never even considered that homosexuality a possibility given the heteronormative paradigms society and his family's Christian faith had implanted in him. But it was in high school that Peter met and developed a crush on  Mike, a male friend with whom he'd have frequent sleepovers and snuggle sessions, but all without any mention of explicit romantic feelings. Peter goes on to tell us about his continued feelings for Mike in college, and his continued efforts at avoiding sex with women, including the tremendously horrible way he lost his virginity.  After college Peter set o

  • FD Shorts 1: My Boner

    01/09/2015 Duración: 15min

This week it's just me and my boner. Or lack thereof. Unfortunately a guest didn't show up, but I wanted to put something out into the world, so here's a short where I discuss my recent boner problems and my experience getting my prostate checked at the urologist yesterday. • FD 151: The Unslut Documentary and Rentboy Raid with Sophia Chase

    26/08/2015 Duración: 39min

This week Chicago dominatrix Sophia Chase returns to the show, as well as Emily Lindin, founder of The Unslut Project. Emily has a new documentary, similarly titled Unslut. Emily talks about the origins of The Unslut Project, how the movie came to be, and some of of the blatantly tragic and also subtly damaging affects of slut-shaming in our society. You can check out the trailer here. Next Sophia talks about what's bee going on at the dungeon, in particular how she's been teaching personal seminars to couple's and individuals looking for personal instruction in kink and BDSM techniques and negotiations. We wrap things up by talking about this week's RentBoy.com raid. Eric mentions that RentBoy COO Hawk Kinkaid is a friend of the show, and the hypocrisy of those trying to imprison those in the sex industry while claiming to want to "rescue" sex workers. • FD 150: Alcohol, Loneliness, and the Pursuit of Sex

    11/08/2015 Duración: 26min

In the absence of a guest, I had to decide whether to skip releasing an episode this week or find a topic to discuss by myself. The truth of the matter is that I've been anxiety ridden and generally disappointed with the state of my life as of late. Next month I'll be turning 30. Age, relative to any of its associations with vanity has never much phased me. The number or any connotations of "being old" aren't terribly frightening to me. Feeling like you've pissed away a good portion of your life, or that its trajectory is irreversible is utterly terrifying. I feel like I had more to show for my life creatively at 20 than I do at 30. And that's a pretty saddening thought. When pressed to examine why that might be the case, lots of reasons come to mind. In college as a theater major, the days were meant to be dedicated to creativity. As an adult, the reality of no longer having student as a means of income but instead having to pay back previous ones hit hard. Time is spent at jobs I'm dispassionate about, feel

  • FD 149: Amnesty International and Decriminalizing Sex Work with Maggie McNeill

    04/08/2015 Duración: 55min

A draft proposal from Amnesty International was recently leaked, in which the human rights giant advocated for the worldwide decriminalization of sex work, or prostitution. The recommendation, which will be voted upon this week in Dublin, is based off years of data which shows that when sex work is decrminalized, crimes against sex workers and other human rights violations decrease. Unfortunately, this has many Hollywood power players from Lena Dunham to Meryl Streep, who have years aligned themselves with the advocacy group, calling for Amnesty International to reverse its position. But sex workers, the actual professionals who the proposal is designed to protect, aren't in agreement with Hollywood.  Joining the show this week is sex worker rights advocate, author of The Honest Courtesan, and veteran sex worker Maggie McNeill. Maggie and I have an in-depth conversation about why Amnesty International is making this proposal, what the data shows, the length to which government institutions have gone to strip

  • Episode 148: Derrick Pierce

    28/07/2015 Duración: 59min

Derrick Pierce is one of the top male porn stars working today. But his journey to success could've taken a much different path. On this week's episode, Derrick talks with Eric about that journey, and how he went from a life of crime to being one of the most respected performers in the industry. The conversation runs the gamut of topics from Derrick's love for cars, his family life growing up, his rap sheet including grand theft auto and assault, his MMA training, and how his life took shape once porn entered in. • FD 147: Caitlyn Jenner and Transitioning

    21/07/2015 Duración: 57min

This week we talk about the Caitlyn Jenner Arthur Ashe speech with the help of returning guests Sonia Vaynerman and comedian Shannon Noll. The conversation starts off with Shannon discussing a new Esurance commercial she stars in for marriage equality. We talk about what led to her landing the gig, and the overall place of advertising in social justice causes. Then we move on the the Caitlyn Jenner speech. This leads to a larger discussion of transitioning, and what the various implications are from hormone therapy to "coming out" to your family. Shannon reveals that she's thought about transitioning many times, but that the costs involved with transitioning have prevented her from fully considering it. Eric asks Shannon if she's dealt with being fetishized for her androgynous presentation, and why it is that he finds so many lesbian and butch looking women attractive. Finally, we end with perhaps the greatest podcast idea in history, and Eric narrating a fake sex scenario between Sonia and Shannon. [powerpre

  • FD 146: Sex, Booze, and Tattoos

    14/07/2015 Duración: 01h17min

This week Eric sits down with creative director and heavily tattooed lady Sonia. Sonia and Eric met at a Fourth of July BBQ, where they couldn't stop talking about sex for nearly the entirety of the party. Naturally they decided they should be friends, and sit down and record a podcast together. The conversation starts off discussing alcohol and drugs. Sonia doesn't drink and lives what she calls a clean lifestyle, which includes cutting meat, sugar, and processed foods out of her diet. Sonia made the lifestyle change after being hospitalized from thermogenic weight loss drug abuse in the bodybuilding world. This leads to a discussion about alcohol and the stigmas surrounded sobriety vs. active addiction, and how substances affect our relationship to sex and dating. Sonia goes on to talk about her tattoo work, and the perceptions held by people over the sexuality of women with tattoos. Finally, we wrap things up talking about open relationships, cheating, and bisexuality. For more Full Disclosure sex news and

  • FD 145: An Interview With Porn Star Evan Stone

    07/07/2015 Duración: 43min

This week we welcome 3x AVN winner and porn icon Evan Stone (NSFW) to the show. We start things off with Evan by talking about the evolving porn landscape: how gonzo and amateur filming has flooded the market, and what that's meant for the quality of other porn productions. Then we dig into Evan's history: what he was like growing up as a kid, the variety of blue collar jobs he held in Texas, and how his sister suggested he become a male stripper. In a series of flukes, Evan eventually landed his first gig in an adult film. From there we talk about the ins-and-outs of the industry, shooting scenes with other male talent, and why Evan doesn't eat pork anymore. • FD 144: Marriage Equality and Ali Clayton

    30/06/2015 Duración: 01h09min

Happy Pride everyone! This episode we celebrate the SCOTUS decision that now makes marriage equality the law of the land. Joining us is comedian Ali Clayton as well as improviser Caroline Allen. We start things off by talking about Ali and Caroline's southern roots, and the treatment of southern dialects. Then we get into the SCOTUS ruling and the analogy to the civil rights movement, as well as the historical impact the decision will have. Eric mentions the awkward moments he felt wearing the rainbow flag as a cape out at straight bars, and Ali and Caroline talk about some of the latent racism that still exists in their families. Ali then opens up about what it was like coming out to her family as bisexual, and the persistent struggle to not have her attraction to women labeled as "a phase". She also tells the incredible story of the time her father may have admitted to sucking a dick, and the myriad of incredible nicknames her family has for genitalia. We wrap things up by going back to the marriage equalit

  • FD 143: Electro Play with Natalya Sadici

    23/06/2015 Duración: 01h29min

This week things get shocking as we welcome dominatrix Natalya Sadici to the show to perform an electro play demo. Joining her is show favorite dominatrix Sophia Chase as well as improviser Kim Grossman. We start things off by talking about what exactly electro play is and the mechanics of how it works. Natalya then talks about growing up, and her trajectory to becoming a pro domme. Then things get weird. Eric wasn't aware before the show that Natalya had planned to perform an electro demo on his genitals, which meant he'd be required to be pantless for the remainder of the show. After reluctantly complying, Natalya applies the electro bands to his penis, and the torture begins. • FD 142: 'The Overnight' Movie Review, Rachel Dolezal

    16/06/2015 Duración: 01h40min

We have a fantastic show this week! We review the new Adam Scott, Taylor Schilling, and Jason Schwartzman movie "The Overnight", we talk about the Rachel Dolezal NAACP debacle, and lots more! Joining us is comedian Mary Zee, plus improvisers Kristen Rau, Roman Simmons, and Molly. We start things off by talking about Rachel Dolezal, and what racial identity means. Many have compared the fluidity of racial identity to that of gender identity, which we discuss. Roman also weighs in with his experience as a black American, and Kristen talks about her racist-not-racist Milli Vanilla halloween costume. Then we dig into things with 'The Overnight'. CLICK HERE TO WIN TICKETS TO THE CHICAGO PREMIERE! While there was certainly a lot to be critiqued about the movie, by and large we all enjoyed it and feel like "it's a good thing" that the movie was made, particularly in that it's a mainstream portrayal of non-traditional relationships (to some extent) as well as other homoerotic themes. We talk a lot about the ins-and-o

  • FD 141: 'Pink Viagra' Flibanserin, Female Sexual Dysfunction, and STI's

    09/06/2015 Duración: 01h35min

Recently an FDA advisory panel has recommended the approval of Flibanserin, a drug that claims to help women with hypoactive sexual desire disorder or female sexual dysfunction. Unfortunately, not only are the claims the drug makes dubious, so too are the very disorders its claiming to help. Talking about the controversy this week Caroline Allen is back, as well as first-timer and fellow improviser Kim Grossman. We start off talking about the drug at hand, and the efforts the pharmaceutical industry has been making for years to invent the female or "pink" Viagra. The movie Orgasm, Inc. (available on Netflix) perfectly outlined these often nefarious efforts over five years ago. Next we move on to discussing Kim and Caroline's line of work, which just so happens to be at the same company. There they speak with concerned callers seeking testing for possible STI's. The two discuss the whole host of types of calls they get, which leads to a discussion about STI contraction itself, particularly whether or not you c

  • FD 140: The Improv Retreat and Sexless Marriage

    02/06/2015 Duración: 01h31min

This week we're coming to you from The Improv Retreat in the beautiful campgrounds of Mukwonago, Wisconsin. In what is undoubtedly the drunkest podcast we've ever recorded, Eric is joined by show favorite Craig Gaspian, improviser Dan Cummings and Sicily, as well as a number of other enthusiastic retreat improvisers who truthfully we can't remember at this time. We cover a number of topics, drunkenly. We drunkenly discuss improv camp. We drunkenly discuss clogging toilets. We drunkenly discuss cults. Lots of reggaeton horn. Then Sicily opens up about her life growing up and her current marriage, for which the sex has gone the way of the dodo. After an emotionally engaging and vulnerable conversation, we naturally find a way to transition into Buttplug Theatre. Lots of things are yelled. The Craig Uhlir twins make their first appearance. More reggaeton horn. The Improv Retreat is amazing. We can't recommend you coming enough next year. We'll be there, and registration is already open. For more Full Disclosure

    27/05/2015 Duración: 01h24min

This week we talk with Hook Online founder and Renboy.com (NSFW) COO Hawk Kinkaid. 19/05/2015 Duración: 01h08min

This week we have inked-up adult performer Lolly Ink (NSFW) on the show. Lolly talks about her childhood—growing up a well-behaved girl to eventually getting her first tattoo at 18 to "feel like an adult". Lolly goes on to discuss her exactly she made the transition from cosmetologist to adult performer, her first scene, and what a performer can do when the other talent is being unprofessional. Plus, in the show's opening, Eric speculates as to why so many dates may have cancelled on him recently. Hint: it DOES involved diarrhea. • FDPOD 137: A Loose Evening of Menstruation and the G-Spot with Caroline Allen

    13/05/2015 Duración: 01h06min

We're a day late with this week's episode, but thankfully Caroline Allen stops into the bedroom for a free-form conversation about all sorts of things! We start off by playing one of her drunken voicemails leftover from New Years Eve. From there we play a listener voicemail who wants to know about the time Eric was kicked out of a Republican Convention for saying he was gay.  Somehow we start talking about period sex. And somehow that leads us to talking about the G-Spot, and eventually playing a clip of Jim Norton talking about his fetishes. It's hard to say what happened, really. It's a loose episode, and I got things to be depressed about, guys!
