Rom 5:1 There is "a peace that can corrupt, no less than war can lay waste." wrote milton once (Paradise Lost XI:781) It takes some wisdom to recognize that. Sadly, that's a wisdom many people do not have. It is possible to make peace with all the wrong things, only to discover that we have no peace at all!

How meager-what an exile-is a Lie, and vocal when we die." This might come as a shock to our sad, relativistic generation, but there is Truth and there are lies, and your eternal health hangs upon that choice.

We are standing at the crossroads of.. Conformity and Honor "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of the world..." Romans 12:2 "Honor often stands, an island, rugged and alone." How true! All through life we face the choice: Shall we 'fit in'? Or do what is right? Shall we go for acceptance and popularity? Or honor and integrity? Conformity is one of those 'ways' in Proverbs 14:12, that 'seems right' but how costly in the end! You're called to go against the grain dear Christian! To swim against the tide! Lets do it!

Jer. 6:16 All of life's business can be summed up in one small plural noun: 'choices'! The famous and the infamous-the hero and the felon-can all look back to see the 'choices' that have made them. Nothing in life is more determinative than the wisdom we use in making choices! We need God's Word and direction if we want to make them right. that's what we'll be learning in this series.

The world is trying to press you into the mold of secular cynicism. It is very much in vogue these days to question every answer, to hold nothing truly ‘true’ and to dispense with any convictions about what is right or wrong. But we’re not supposed to fit into the mold, remember? Let’s see what we must do....

It’s wonderful to ‘break the cycles’-to be delivered from those ,empty ways of life handed down to us’ from the past. But, for the christian, that is only the first step. The second step is justas important: God expects us to ‘break out of the mold’, to live our lives as very different people in this world.

When it comes to the ‘occult’, every christian has one thing to do: stay away from it! People who get involved in the occult open a ‘door’ to spiritual forces that can oppress them and their families for generations to come! But here’s the good news: God has sent his ‘deliverer’ to break this cycle too!

Counsellors and physicians now call it an ‘epidemic’. Over 12% of our population are ‘weighed down’ with the burdens of anxiety. But God loves you! He wants to break his cycle ! He wants you out from under this load! Let’s see what must be done...
