We have seen it and testify to it..." 1 John 1:2 "Where is the life we have lost in the living?" the poet Eliot once asked: which is not a surprising question from one who complained that: "I have a measured my life with coffee spoons." But Eliot is not the only one! We can all miss out on life; we can all get life all wrong. It's one of the symptoms of a wounded heart! How marvelous that God loved us enough to come and offer again!

"Forgiving each other just as, in Christ, God forgave you." Eph 4:32 This will come as a surprise to some, but the opposite of 'forgiveness' is not 'vengeance' or 'resentment' or even 'bitterness'. It is 'despair' : as the heart lunges backward into the grievances of the past, and loses all perspective of the wonderful things of God. This too...is a crossroad.
