As a nation, we are seeing right before our very eyes the character of the nation disappearing. What do we need? Psalm 33 explains exactly what we need. It shows us God's plan for a people. It points out that our trust cannot be in our own strength or wisdom. Our trust, not only individually but collectively, must be in God and God alone.

Working off the theme and scripture for last week's VBS, we will dive deeper into studying the greatness of God.

Today we will see that a life built upon Jesus Christ and His Word is a life that is built on the proper foundation and is therefore prepared for anything.

Contrary to popular thought today, in this passage we will see that not every path leads to God.

Jesus tells His disciples to persist in prayer. We will see today in our text that we are to pray with perseverance and confidence.

Today we will see that under certain situations in the Bible, judging is not only suggested, it is commanded. However, as the context to Matthew 7 points out, we are never to be judgmental from a self-appointed ivory tower position.

Today we are going to look at the life of Daniel to see what GOd can do with a life dedicated to Him.

What could we say about Paul's last words? While his last words were auto biographical, what we see underlying his words is a challenge that Timothy would live in such a way that he, too, would finish his race well.

Listening is important in life. Listening to God is especially important. Why are more people not seeming to hear?

We live in such a stressful, hectic society. What does God's Word say about resting in Him?

We serve a God who keeps His promises! Today, we will look at our assurances in light of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. These assurances are built on nothing less than God's promises.

In the first 4 verses we will look at today, we see how rich we are in Christ. We have a new position. It is only by the resurrection of Christ that we are not only given new life but also the power to live the new life.

Christ has risen! God raises Jesus from the dead, ensuring that death and the grave have been defeated for all who, down through the centuries, believe in Jesus Christ and belong to Him.

We all fall short of God's glory and His standard of perfection. Is there vengeance in your heart toward someone? Today we will learn that we are to repay evil with good.

As Disciples of Christ, we are to be so honest in our dealings with people and in our speech, that we don't even need to attach seperate vows and promises to what we say.

While our culture may want to focus on Divorce, we as Christians should be talking more about marriage and demonstrating biblical marriage. Today we will look at the patterns that God has set forth for a biblical marriage.
