  • Episode #281: Homecoming

    31/12/2020 Duración: 01h32s

And on Day 366 of March 2020, or as much as it feels that way, the final M101 of 2020 is here, as we celebrate the end of one of, if not, the greatest season of Motorsport, we've ever covered on this show, with MotoGP's Season Finale at Portimao, Portgual. And on this one, Miguel Oliveira had the homecoming of dreams as he took a Grand Slam on home turf in complete dominance, as the new Champions struggled, and *checks notes*... Ducati won a title?! Also, we had the Suzuki drunken afterparty, and two other World Titles settled in dramatic fashion as Albert Arenas held on to win the Moto3 title, and Remy Gardner took his first career win as Luca Marini and Sam Lowes would have desperate last attempts to win the Moto2 off Enea Bastianini. Thank you for all your support in 2020, and we'll be back on New Year's Day for another brand new (sort of) episode!

  • Episode #280: Don't Stop Mir Now

    21/12/2020 Duración: 43min

Next up on the weekend of Champions, Joan Mir and the penultimate race in MotoGP's season, as while Franky Morbidelli and Jack Miller beat the crap out of each other, Joan Mir played it safe and made history as the sport's first-ever, ONE-win Champion. We spoke at length about the history made as Suzuki won the riders and teams championships, their first major honours in 20 years, in the 100th anniversary of their existence. We also talk about Yamaha's struggles, and a shocking finale to a Moto2 race as Fabio Diggia throws away his first Moto2 win on the final lap, and Champion-Elect Sam Lowes had a title-defining crash.

  • Episode #279: Seventh Heaven

    19/12/2020 Duración: 59min

The furious rewind flashback saga continues with a look back at the Turkish Grand Prix, where Lewis Hamilton recovered from a very slippery Istanbul, rain affected GP, to smash the field, and more importantly, capture his 7th straight World Title, and matching Sebastian Vettel for his 4th title in a row. We also had a dramatic race behind as Sergio Perez got back on the podium, Lance Stroll had his first pole position, and Sebastian Vettel had his drive of the season for 3rd! An epic race, remembered, on Motorsport101!

  • Episode #278: Dirty Ian

    06/12/2020 Duración: 01h16s

Hey, remember when Joan Mir won his first MotoGP race? Feels like ages ago, and it was! But here's us talking about the European Grand Prix, with Joan Mir winning his 1st GP, Iannone's drug appeal failing spectacularly, and Sam Lowes hitting the deck as his season started to collapse. Enjoy!

Oh and we invited Chris DeHarde back. We're really sorry.

A seat at Michael Jordan's new race team, ran by Denny Hamlin. As you do!

We break down a dramatic 2nd coming in Misano, as well as a heated fight between Pol Espargaro, the white hot Joan Mir and Fabio Quartararo, with the latter taking a time penalty that dropped him off the podium.
