And finally, IndyCar in Texas as Scott Dixon and Pato O'Ward split wins, we discuss O'Ward and IndyCar's youngsters future, and NASCAR's influence on the series as a strip of new tarmac tained the entire weekend!

We like Formula E on this show. Really, we do. But sometimes, the series screws the pooch. This was one of those days. Valencia isn't the normal sort of F-E track, and it showed, as their first race featured 5 Safety Cars, Lotterer going rogue, and a late-race Kilowatt reduction that caused absolute carnage as only 9 cars finished the race with enough usable energy. Oh, and Jake Dennis won Race 2. Because of course he did. We break it all down here, in Episode 302 of Motorsport101!

After 265 days healing from a broken arm and an three operations to fix it, Marc Marquez made his return to MotoGP. Motorsport101 (Three of them at least), break down his... remarcable return to the sport and an incredible 7th place finish. Oh, and Fabio Quartararo won, that's worth a mention, right? We also talk Moto2 as a fight broke out, we had a fire, and Raul Fernandez took his first Moto2 win, and the second coming of Pedro Acosta who stunned the sport again with another incredible victory in Moto3!

1-1. Formula 1 returned to Imola and Max Verstappen returned the favour after a disappointing Bahrain fumble. But how we got there was fascinating. We had the two other Mercedes protagonists collide in spectacular fashion, Lewis Hamilton was bullied off the road, then put it in the wall... and still finished 2nd. And we even had Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc battle for a podium spot. F1 is 2/2 for interesting GP's this year, and we break down the big incidents, Bottas' future, and the return of McLaren in detail over the next hour. Enjoy!

Formula E returned to the streets of Rome in emphatic fashion with two rather crazy races. Mercedes had the best "worst" weekend ever, with a win for Stoffel Vandoorne... and that was the only car that finished for the whole weekend. Nissan E-Dams were in the wars, as were Sam Bird. Norman Nato was denied a maiden podium, Sebastien Buemi and Lucas Di Grassi reignited an old grudge match, and Andre Lotterer lost in the worst's most electrified game of "chicken". Oh, and Jaguar leads a World Championship for the first time since Dre was born. Seriously. We break it all down in Episode 297!

We have three incredibly exciting new rookies in SuperCar's Scott Mclaughlin, F1's Romain Grosjean, and NASCAR legend Jimmie Johnson. We also have the bigger teams all expanding to four cars to compensate, a larger than ever grid, and the probable return of Bump Day all to come for the 500! Will Scott Dixon make it 7 IndyCar titles? Can anyone stop Takuma at Indy? What sort of impact will the Rookies make? Is Josef Newgarden still incredibly handsome? The answers to at least 2 of these questions all coming up in this 90 minute special!

To catch up with MotoGP, we decided to put BOTH weekends into one big podcast to watch. In it: We talk Yamaha vs Ducati, as while the latter broke speed records and lap records, but both times round, it was the factory riders of Maverick Vinales and Fabio Quartararo that took a win each, even if Johann Zarco hit 225mph on Saturday, and Pecco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin took shock pole positions! We had Sam Lowes win a pair of very different and tense Moto2 rounds, and Pedro Acosta won a Moto3 race FROM THE FRIGGIN' PITLANE. HE'S 16, and WE FEEL OLD AF. Also, FIGHT CLUB!

Well... That wasn't what we expected, eh? 2021's F1 season opener at Bahrain ended up being a surprise classic of the era, with Lewis Hamilton genuinely on the back foot for most of the weekend. But he still took advantage of a damaged Red Bull, and some superior strategy from his Mercedes team to take win Number 96 of his legendary career. We also talk about the track limits mismanagement heard around the world as Turn 4 became a figure of ridicule for the viewers and teams, as a change from Race Direction... Didn't look great. We also review F2's season opener, as it was a big weekend for the rookies, with Liam Lawson and Oscar Piastri impressing with wins, while Guanyu Zhou took the feature race!

It's a bit close to the mark, but right before the season starts in Qatar, here's the gangs full Preview of MotoGP's 2021 Season in Qatar. It includes talk on Joan Mir, the sport's almost forgotten reigning World Champion and Suzuki's quiet test. It was a chaotic opening weekend for Formula E in Diriyah, that included, but wasn't limited to, the most dominant first race in the series history from Nyck de Vries, two pretty scary major incidents in FP3 and Race 2 from Edo Mortara and Alex Lynn, EIGHT post-race penalties, and Sam Bird running down a pitlane with high fives. And it was a damn fun Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona as Wayne Taylor Racing took a hat-trick and fourth win in the last five years! We talk about them, the Cadillac and Kevin Magnussen's debut, and heartbreaking finish, and we laugh at LMP3's Meme Class! We also catch up on all of January's news, and Dre wears a weird shirt.

A much, MUCH requested Watch Party from years ago, as the boys sit down and watch along to Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, a film that probably did more to capture the spirit of NASCAR than Days of Thunder did! WARNING: We watched the unrated, Director's Cut version of the movie, it's about 15 minutes longer than the cinema version. Now, note, the unrated version contains multiple ableist slurs and a couple of jokes that imply non-consent. It's a product of its time and while we don't endorse it, this is what the movie is, and some discretion may be advised!

Now, I know what you're thinking - You're quite right, Episodes 285 and 286 are missing! That's intentional, they're both still in the works, but we wanted to get this episode out first, we recorded this on Wednesday and it involves a full preview of IMSA's Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, featuring a full run down of the field and state of play! Finally, we got the F1 season over and done with! In this episode, we review an absolute snoozer of an Abu Dhabi GP, as Max Verstappen dominated from start to finish over a surprisingly subdued Mercs, and a less than 100% Lewis Hamilton returning from his COVID-19 case. We also discuss McLaren selling off 33% of their team to a sports group and discuss the changes in the WEC as the Hypercar category comes closer to fruition. Oh, and Cam goes OFF on an awful ending to the Kyalami 9 Hours. Next up, the Motorsport101 Awards!

Behold, the Bahrhombus! This was our Motorsport101 Race of the Year and for good reason. We covered all of the George Russell substitution and how he was robbed of the win. Twice. How Sergio Perez went from 18th on the opening lap to win, as well as midfielders taking up the entire Top 5. And the long-term ramifications of Lewis Hamilton missing the race, Russell's future, and a moment for Sergio Perez finally winning at the 190th attempt. Enjoy!
