Episode #323 is headlined by IndyCar's penultimate race of 2021, as the travelling circus headed to California for the Grand Prix of Monterey at Laguna Seca. And on paper, it'll go down in the books as a dominant win by Colton Herta, having led 91 out of 95 laps. But how we got there was intriguing, with Alex Palou being the only man being able to stay with the incredible mullet. And at the end of the race, we got a big chase-down attempt at the end of the race from Romain Grosjean on a new set of sticky Alternate Tyres. It was certainly dramatic with him taking 2 seconds a lap out of the leading pair until an over-zealous divebomb attempt to lap Jimmie Johnson ended his slim chances of winning. But it was fun! It was inevitable really, wasn’t it? Once we saw what happened at Silverstone between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, we all knew it would happen again. And it did. “The Pinch” focuses on the 2021 Italian Grand Prix, where an amazing McLaren 1-2 was completely overshadowed by the second major flashpoint between 1st and 2nd in the Championship battle. Was there anyone to blame for the crash? Was Verstappen getting a 3-place grid penalty fair? Have we as fans gone too far when we use inconsistent arguments like: “Checking the drivers well-being” as brownie points to beat the other fanbase with? Formula 1 was back in The Netherlands, and while the racing wasn't all that special, the atmosphere absolutely jumped off the page. Even if it was a bit... flarey. 7 really IS the lucky number after all! At the Le Mans 24 hours, it was Toyota who won the day with a 1-2 finish, but it wasn't without early Glickenahus drama, and an Alpine in the gravel trap! We also had Ferrari taking the GT's and a heartbreaking finish for the #41 car in LMP2! A bumper edition of M101 this week as the gang reviews a crashfest Nashville Music City Grand Prix a race that featured Marcus Ericsson winning despite doing a pole vault, and no less than 9 Yellow and 2 Red Flags! Well... That was ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. Hungary has always been a freaky one but this was ridiculous. Esteban Ocon, who was 250/1 to one to win the GP, took a stunning victory over Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton, and that wasn't before 5 cars were taken out at Turn 1, Hamilton took a standing restart ON HIS OWN, and Fernando Alonso turned back the clock. We had MotoGP in Germany as Marc Marquez took mhis first win in 581 days as he retook his crown as the King of the Ring! And we talk IndyCar too as Alex Palou steals a dub from Josef Newgarden at Road America! Oh and Formula E's mentioned too, as we talk Fanboost and Pascal Wehrlein's controversial penalty!

An IndyCar special episode on the Infamous Dual in Detroit, with a shock winner in Race 1 as... *checks notes* Marcus Ericsson gave us IndyCar's FOURTH new winner in 2021 after the cruelty of Will Power's engine failing to restart on the final sprint. We also had Pato O'Ward come from 6th to 1st with 6 laps to go in Race 2 as Josef Newgarden had to drive over the limit on his tyres in order to survive and just ran out of road in the process. We also talk Jimmie Johnson getting criticism on Social Media, and his place in the series. Kinda hard to ignore it at this point with his constant struggles, combined with his team at Chip Ganassi Racing all winning races at points throughout the season? Is he justified to be there, or does his presence mean more than that in the series?

Ladies, gentlemen, enby friends... The Baku. It happened again, a relatively tame raced turned completely chaotic with two tyre-blowouts, and a 2-lap sprint finish after Max Verstappen had a nailed on win detonate at his left rear. It also gave us a stunning podium with Sebastian Vettel hitting the podium for the first time in Aston Martin's history, and Pierre Gasly taking a damaged Alpha Tauri back to 3rd! We also talk Catalunya, with Miguel Oliveira upsetting the apple cart with a brilliant win, with Fabio Quartararo stealing headlines with his leathers exploding in the middle of the race, with a chest protector thrown out. We talk about the awfully sad weekend here and a Fabio win that played second fiddle in the top flight as the sport came to terms with the loss of one of their own. We also talk the 105th running of the Indy500, as Helio Castroneves pulled off a Lap 199 pass on Alex Palou to make history as the 4th member of the four win club, in a tremendously exciting race, and what it meant for the sport in general.

Just when you thought Charles Leclerc was on for a famous home victory at Monaco, Ferrari refusing to check one side of the car after a Q3 hit, ultimately cost them a win, and maybe two cars on the podium. We break down a newsworthy Monaco GP, where Verstappen dominated, Bottas was nailed by a dodgy wheel nut gun, and Sebastian Vettel passed Lewis Hamilton on track. Seriously. We also break down Indy 500 Qualifying as Scott Dixon captured his 4th pole position, the young guns of Herta and Veekay making the front row, and the shock and awe of two Penskes (Including Will friggin' Power), having to make it in via Bump Day! Oh, and the wonderful Zoeey Hamilton's back as well!
