In Romans 14:1-11, Paul instructs the church in Rome on how to interact with each other in the gray areas of life, which are not blatant sin, but that could result in sin. • Love That Won't Leave You Behind - Anthony Hendricks

    09/12/2012

Imagine your life being completely changed in one day because of the love of one person. In this message, Pastor Anthony walks the Little Rock campus through II Samuel 9, and shows how King David as a type of the King of Kings extends his unconditional love on the grandson of King Saul. The love of the king reached down into a barren land, and brought Mephibosheth into a glorious new relationship where he was welcomed to eat at the kings table always. Likewise, God, the King of Kings, does the same thing to all of humanity.

  • Hope That Won't Disappoint - Mark DeYmaz

    03/12/2012

On this first of four Sunday messages during the 2012 Advent season, Pastor Mark speaks of the hope (confidence) we can have by faith in a God we can trust to reveal Himself in our lives and circumstances. More that a mere good luck wish, hope in God is sure - though we must often wait on Him to come through for us in His way, in His time. With references to the hope of Dr. Martin Luther King and of ancient Israel, Mark speaks ultimately to why hope in God will not fail or disappoint us, and how it can sustain us even in the darkest of times.

  • Role of Government (Romans 13:1-10) - Mark DeYmaz

  • Don't Get It Twisted (Romans 12:1-7) - Anthony Hendricks

This Sunday, Pastor Anthony encouraged our campus to get off of Facebook, and get into THE BOOK for the King of Kings plans for the next four years!!!

  • Love Without Hypocrisy (Romans 12:9-13) - Harry Li

    22/10/2012

Jesus warned us about hypocrisy. So did the Apostle Paul. It ultimately is a symptom of a much deeper issue -- our own self-righteousness. Continuing on in Romans 12, Pastor Harry discusses what it looks like to love (agape) without hypocrisy and contrasts that with our natural methods of loving one another through our fleshly human strength in this look at Roman 12:9-13. This message was presented on October 21, 2012 at Mosaic' s Little Rock campus.

  • Renewed & Gifted to Serve (Romans 12:2-8) - Anthony Hendricks

    15/10/2012

Continuing our series in Romans, Pastor Anthony encourages the Little Rock campus from chapter 12: 2-8. In this message, he challenges Christ-followers to renew their minds so that they might think rightly about themselves and become functioning members of the body of Christ. In spite of the diversity of gifts given by the Holy Spirit, believers are to work interdependently in our giftedness to accomplish the continued mission and ministry of Christ on the earth. When we operate as the unified body of Christ we become the light bearers that we've been called to be in a confused and desperate world. This message was presented on October 14, 2012.

  • Real Community Transformation - Romans 12:1-2 - Mark DeYmaz

    07/10/2012

In addition, he shares just where we are in terms of the purchase of a facility and current plans for initial renovations of a new, permanent, home for the church in 72204, Little Rock's emerging University District. This message was presented on October 7, 2012, at Mosaic's Little Rock campus.

  • Love, Exegetical Style (Romans 12:1-2ff.) - Mark DeYmaz

    30/09/2012

In this message, Pastor Mark speaks to the issue of proper exegesis and, more specifically, demonstrates how "Paul interprets Paul." In so doing we see the remarkable relationship between Paul's thoughts in Romans 12 and Ephesians 4. In both instances, Paul speaks to the necessity of diverse believers walking, working, and worshipping God together as one in the local church in order to present a credible witness of Christ-like love for all people in a lost and cynical society. This message was presented at Mosaic's Little Rock campus on September 30, 2012.

  • By the Mercies of God - Romans 11:32; 12:1-2 - Mark DeYmaz

    23/09/2012

Mark DeYmaz brings us up close and personal with a merciful Savior more concerned with your future than your faults. This message provides the context in which to understand Romans 12:1-2, and will encourage you not to let guilt, shame or regret keep you from drawing near to the One who loves you so! • Living Sacrifice (Romans 12:1-2) - Harry Li

    16/09/2012

Beginning in Romans 12, Paul takes a definitive shift from the theological to the practical. In Rom 12:1, the substantive theological foundations that were presented in the first 11 chapters converge into the substantive practical foundations of living out a church of all people. In this sermon, Harry Li presents what it means to be a living sacrifice in light of the tremendous truths presented in the previous eleven chapters. This message was presented on September 16, 2012 at Mosaic's Little Rock campus.

  • His Mission for His Glory (Romans 11:11-36) - Anthony Hendricks

    10/09/2012

Pastor Anthony closes out Paul's parenthetical section on Israel with a challenge to mission for the Little Rock campus. God's heart for Israel, as well as for Christ-following Gentiles is to understand His mission in the earth and to be the light-bearers that He has called us to be. We are also challenged in this passage to be careful of developing a subtle arrogance in our relationship with Jesus, while looking down on unbelievers, especially the children of Israel. As Christ-followers, we are called to be on Mission, and that mission is to bring glory to God in every aspect of our lives. Click to listen, and be encouraged to "Get On Mission!". This message was delivered at Mosaic's Little Rock campus on September 9, 2012.

  • Are They Without Hope? (Romans 11:1-16) - Mark DeYmaz

    02/09/2012

Continuing his train of thought from last week's message, Have They Not Heard, Mark DeYmaz breaks down the second two of four questions (Did God reject His people? Are they without hope?) that Paul anticipates from Jewish converts listening to (or later reading) this letter, and more specifically his teaching concerning Israel beginning in Romans 9. While Israel has been chosen by God, not all Israelites have accepted the good news (Romans 10:16). This message was presented at Mosaic's Little Rock campus on September 2, 2012.
