As we near the end of our Lenten series, Act with Christ, we come to "Give Glory." Do we glorify God in all that we do? Do we glorify ourselves? Are we more likely to hand our troubles to God but keep our success? Let us prepare our hearts to Act with Christ. Our scripture readings come from Hebrews 5:5-10 and John 12:20-33.

Today's message in Acting with Christ is "Look and Live." We get a familiar scripture with what might be unfamiliar context. What have we set our sights on? What kind of example do we set? Is Christ at the center? Let us prepare our hearts to Act with Christ. Our scripture readings come from Numbers 21:4-9 and John 3:14-21.

Continuing our Lenten journey in Act with Christ, we arrive at "Clear the Temple." We are given the image of Jesus driving out money changers and vendors by force. But why? What kind of example does Christ set for us? Do we hesitate to act on our prayers? Let us prepare our hearts to Act with Christ. Our scripture reading comes from John 2:13-25.

As we continue in our Lenten series Act with Christ we arrive at "Take Up Your Cross." Peter receives a strong rebuke from Jesus. We seek to emulate Christ, but what about when his actions seem harsh? What about when they cause us to give up comfort? Let us prepare our hearts to Act with Christ. Our Lenten series is Act with Christ, and our first message in this series is "Get to the Wilderness." Today we hear The familiar story of Christ's baptism and temptation in the wilderness. But that was Jesus doing in the wilderness? How do we prepare ourselves for ministry? Let us prepare our hearts to Act with Christ. Our scripture reading comes from Mark 1:9-15.

As we finish out Prepare to Change series we come to "Be Transformed." We hear about how Christ appeared transformed to the disciples. But what does it mean for us to be transformed by Christ? How do we transform ourselves to better spread the Gospel truth? As we prepare for Lent, we prepare to change. Our scripture readings come from 2 Corinthians 4:3-6 and Mark 9:2-9.

As we continue into our Prepare to Change series, we look at how to "Become All Things." When we think about the Good News, we often think of how it relates to our own lives. But can we relate the Gospel to others? How can we bridge divides between peoples? How can we serve a world that can be so different? As we prepare for Lent, we prepare to change. Our scripture reading comes from 1 Corinthians 9:16-23.

As we begin our pre-lenten series Prepare to Change, we look at how we can "Abstain to Grow." Paul talks about not eating meat in order to keep from being a stumbling block to others. What do we do that hurts others? What can we give up for more than just ourselves? And how do we grow from holding back? As we prepare for Lent, prepare to change. Our scripture reading comes from 1 Corinthians 8:1-13.

Today we explore the "Gift of the Call" and how we are called to serve Christ. Do you feel called? Do you work to call others? And what are we called to do as Christians? Who do we protect? These are the Gifts of the Season. The scripture reading for today comes from John 1:43-51. There will not be a message next week, as I will be on vacation.

Today we explore a familiar story in "Gift of the Spirit." Do we understand that the Spirit is a gift for you and me? How do you experience the Holy Spirit? Do you listen for it? These are the Gifts of the Season. Our scripture readings come from Acts 19:1-7 and Mark 1:4-11.

Today we look at the familiar story of the visit of the wise men in "Gift of the Light." As we look to a new year, let us look for hope renewed. These are the Gifts of the Season. Our scripture readings come from Isaiah 60:1-6 and Matthew 2:1-12.

As we finish our Advent Experience we reach today's message, "Know: Christ is With Us." When we celebrate Christmas, do we know that Christ is with us now? Discover Christ in this Advent and Christmas Eve experience. Our scripture readings come from 2 Samuel 7:1-11,16 and Luke 1:26-38.

This week in our Advent Experience we come to "Hear: The Good News." When we prepare for Christmas, do we tell the Good News? Do we stop to really listen? What does Christmas mean to you? Do you live it? Explore Christ in an Advent experience! Our scripture readings come from Isaiah 61:1-4, 8-11 and John 1:6-8, 19-28.

As we continue in our Advent Experience we come to "Feel: The Path Ahead." John echoes the words of Isaiah in his call to action. Do we answer that call? Do we get distracted? As we begin our Advent Experience series,  we begin with seeing in "See: The Son of Man."  As we prepare for the celebration of Christ’s birth, are we ready now for the Son of Man to come? If he came today, could we ever really be ready? Explore Christ in an Advent experience! Our scripture readings come from Isaiah 64:1-9 and Mark 13:24-37.

As we come to the end of our series, Seeking God, we begin to look forward to Advent with "See God." What are we looking for when we seek God? A burning bush? I pillar of fire and smoke? A booming voice from the clouds? Are we so busy looking for God that we don't see God right before us? When we seek God, we find hope. Our scripture reading comes from Matthew 25:31-46.

The third installment of Seeking God is just in time for Thanksgiving! "Remember God" looks at why we are thankful. Do we give credit where credit is due? Do we share what we are given? What can we learn from Moses' words to the Israelites? When we seek God, we find hope. Our scripture reading comes from Deuteronomy 8:7-18.

This week in Seeking God we look at how we "Serve God." Joshua makes a covenant with the people of Israel, but he has some important questions first. Do we fully understand our responsibility? Do we fully understand what it is to serve God? When we seek God, we find hope. Our scripture reading comes from Joshua 24:1-3a, 14-25.

"Trust God" is our first message in the Seeking God series. On this All Saints Sunday we look at God's promise to his children. What can we say about those who have completed their journey and our own future? When we seek God, we find hope. Our scripture reading comes from Revelation 7:9-17.

"Giving Your All" marks the end of the current series, Turning to God. Jesus speaks of the two greatest commandments in today's scripture. But how do we live them? What does it really mean to give our all for God? When we turn from earthly desires, we find ourselves turning to God. Our scripture reading comes from Matthew 22:34-46.
