As we continue in Turning to God, we come to "God's Things." Jesus talks about giving back to the emperor what belongs to the emperor. But what belongs to God? Do we give God the credit he deserves? This week in Turning to God, we talk about patience. "Waiting for God" looks at how we aren't so different from the Israelites making a golden calf. What idols do we make in our lives? As we reach the midpoint of An Overflowing Heart, we come to "Merciful Hearts." How many times do we forgive? What does it mean to truly forgive someone? What example does Christ give us for forgiveness? When we give up resentment we make room for love. With Christ, we can live with an overflowing heart. As we continue our current series, An Overflowing Heart, we come to "Owe Only Love." What do we owe others? What do we feel we are owed. And what would it be like to owe only love? As we begin our new series, An Overflowing Heart, we look at "Genuine Love." Love is many things, but how often do we think about love being strict? Maybe even harsh?
