But the importance of Memorial Day is more for our future than it is for our past. It is crucial that we remember the nightmares and why they happened or forget them at our own peril. As we look back in faith, we also have encouragement because our sins have been taken away. We have a fresh start with God!

Part 2 As we think about the world around us, it can be hard to imagine how others can leave behind what pulls them away, entangles them, or leaves them embittered against the good news about Jesus. Somehow in the middle of these challenges, God is still working and his promises still stand. The question, at the end of the day, is will we follow him in obedience to what he has called us to? Come join us for Youth Sunday this year as we look at an unlikely city's repentant response.

Part 1. We live in a world full of challenges that threaten to pull us away, entangle us, or leave us embittered to those outside who don't believe in the good news about Jesus. We all know what it’s like to have someone let us down or go back on their promise, but our faith is based on something that is sure and certain, the promise of God. Together we’ll discover from Hebrews 6 the comfort and assurance that comes from understanding the certainty of this promise.

It is difficult to walk faithfully with the Lord, and it can be even more difficult to admit to our struggles and need for help when it feels like everyone around us is doing well. Yet it is in our struggles and trials that we come to better understand the greatness of Christ's mercy and grace. Join us as we examine Christ's example and role in our lives from Hebrews 4 and 5.

The word of God is presented as a double-edged sword in Hebrews, and its intended use is against us! Yet somehow, the word of God is pictured here as a weapon that is the key to our rest. Come and see what Hebrews 4 can teach us about true rest.

Christianity is not about a momentary confession, it’s about a continuing confidence! Join us as we learn from Hebrews 3 how to hold firmly to our unfailing hope.

Jesus had told His followers that He would be betrayed, that He would suffer, that He would die, and that is exactly what happened that first Good Friday almost 2000 years ago. But Jesus also told His disciples that on the on the third day He would be raised from the dead, and that is exactly what happened – just as He said! Jesus is alive and you can have new life – come celebrate Easter with us this year at Springbrook!

Good Friday is a day when Christians remember the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. The cross is not only a symbol of salvation and redemption, but it reflects the reality of our victory over evil, sin, and death! Join us for this special service and we reflect on the work of Jesus Christ and celebrate with communion.

If Jesus did not overcome death on the cross and rise from the grave, then we would not have Easter. In fact, we would not have Christmas celebrating the birth of our savior either! The events leading up to and surrounding the Easter holiday are the single most important events in human history, all of which are summarized in the first four verses of Hebrews chapter 1. Come join us as we kick off Holy Week looking at the realities of Easter!
