Who's fault is it when a people are led astray by corrupt leaders? The short answer is probably "everyone." The longer answer is that we might be asking the wrong question. While we want to focus on who is at fault, God wants us to turn to Him. In Ezekiel 8-11 we see that God promises us a new heart and spirit as we turn to him.

The Lord has watchmen in place to bring a word to his people. From Ezekiel 3:14-27 we see that it is God's desire for His people to have a change of heart, and in chapters 4-7 we see how He will use a variety of ways to speak this to them.

From Ezekiel chapter 2 we find that God’s Spirit reveals Himself to us as we make ourselves available to Him, but He also gives us strength and clarity as to our purpose in life! Whether it is acquiring a new heart or encouraging a committed one, fresh revelation of the Lord is a necessity.

Prayer and fasting are rich and valuable disciplines of the Christian life, but desires more than these actions alone. Be our guest as we explore genuine fasting from Isaiah 58, and the joy from a heart of worship that isn’t based on ritual, but rather rooted in reality.

Some of the most famous words in Esther are "for such a time as this...", but have you ever read her response, which ends: "...and if I perish, I perish." Right after saying this, the exiled Jewish people began a three day fast. Join us this Sunday as we look at the book of Esther and how the Lord worked through some very compromised people who were willing to cry out to him.

The Church in the City of Antioch had an amazing experience of God’s favor and was one of the healthiest churches we see in the New Testament. Join us as we unpack Acts 13:1-4 together and find how our church today can find the same such blessing as the Antioch Church did then!

Fasting is a spiritual discipline that most assuredly will move us away from cultural behaviors that are cursed by self-indulgence and make it difficult to discern God’s best for us. Our special Christmas Eve service will be a meaningful time celebrating and thanking God for the incredible gift of His Son, as we sing together, hear an encouraging message, and close with a wonderful candlelight service.

God had promised Mary and Joseph a son that would save His people from their sins, and Jesus coming to earth as our redemptive Messiah should bring us joy!  But what does joy look like and are you experiencing that now?  Join us as we move toward Christmas day and look closely ath the fullness of life that Jesus promises!

That God Himself would take on flesh and come and dwell amongst us is astounding. Yet that is what we celebrate at Christmas. We have a God who is with us, and we have a God who delights to use the most unexpected of people to accomplish His incredible purposes - how can we not worship Him?

All of humanity fell into sin with a single event, and the result is that we all face death. We have all been plagued by sin and its effects, and we all need to be saved from death. Here is the good news about Christmas: God has a plan and he has provided us a savior! Discover the true wonder of Christmas, that no matter where you are or what you have done, you can experience the fullness of knowing and having a relationship with God!

God promised to Abraham that his descendants would bless the entire earth, and we find this promise fulfilled in Jesus! As God’s people today, we are a fulfillment of that promise and a part of God's plan to transform lives! Let us work together to help our community, nation and the world to discover more of Jesus and the true meaning of Christmas!

We have so much to be thankful for, that setting aside just one day a year hardly seems enough. But could it be, that in our thankfulness for all the blessings that we enjoy, we’re actually missing the whole point of thanksgiving? Join us as we rediscover from Psalm 138 why our thanksgiving must be rooted in the greatness of God.

This Sunday we are concluding our “Conversations with Jesus” series in John 21, with Jesus talking once again to Peter about moving beyond the past in order to fully experience the forgiveness, love and grace that is extended at the cross. No matter where you are, no matter what you have done, God’s grace is sufficient and His call on your life to follow him is clear!

When Jesus is brought to Pilate, there are no charges listed. Through his conversations with Jesus, Pilate finds no grounds to kill him, and even seeks to release him. Pilate, the ultimate human authority in whether or not Jesus would die on the cross, could not find any reason Jesus should die and yet allowed Jesus to be killed. Join us as we discover why.
