When a loved one dies there are often all kinds of questions and all kinds of emotions. But what does Jesus have to say to those who are grieving? How does He respond in the face of death? Join us to discover the hope that His words give us, so we can live each day with confidence and even stare death in face with unshakable faith.

When his disciples asked Jesus whose sin led to a man being blind, Jesus gave an unexpected answer that led to the blind man receiving sight. When the blind man's community hears of it, they put him on trial. Come join us as we look at how the world responds to the works of Jesus, and how those who follow Jesus respond to the words of the world.

"Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did." Those words, proclaimed by an unlikely source, led a whole town to believe that Jesus was the Messiah. Come learn about the man who knows everything you ever did, and why that is a good thing.

Imagine someone knocking on your door in the middle of the night because they had a question and wanted to talk with you. It sure seems like a strange time to have a conversation, but that is exactly what Nicodemus did with Jesus! Join us as we kick-off our series, “Conversations with Jesus,” by looking at what it means to be born again!

Christianity is not a religion of ideas, it rests solely and solidly upon certain facts and great acts of God in history. Christianity rests upon certain recorded events, and Christ’s death and resurrection is the foundation of everything!

You are unique, one of a kind, and unreproducible. There is no one who looks exactly like you, thinks your thoughts, or feels your feelings, and above all, there is no other Christian in the world who is equipped and gifted like you. This Body of Christ needs you, and every role in the Body is important!

The Apostle Paul deals at length with the institution of the Lord's Supper, clearing up many misconceptions that are found in the church. Communion fulfills its purpose when understood correctly and when all are gathered together as equals in remembrance of what Christ did for us.

Paul presents a picture of the Christian walk as a careful balance. We are free in Christ, and encouraged to rejoice in that freedom. At the same time we are encouraged to follow Paul's example in winning souls, even at the cost of our liberty. How will we respond to Paul's challenge.

It's hard to watch culture move further and further away from truth, but what do you do when Christians begin to look more wicked than the world around them? Paul gives us clear expectations for what we should find in the church, and how to deal with sin-related conflict.

Paul implores believers to imitate him... right after he says he and his fellow workers have become "like the scum of the earth, the refuse of all things." It seems like an odd invitation to extend, and an even stranger one for us to respond to. What is Paul getting at? Find out as we look at wisdom, faithfulness, and stewardship.

In our passage this week, we see Paul addresses division in the church by way of the pride that caused it. It is humbling to recognize our new life in Christ came about only because of God and not because of anything we did, and Christ provides the wisdom and power of God needed to unite us!

Our spiritual growth and pursuit of maturing in Christ is not a journey meant to be done alone. We are called not only to be mindful of being in relationship with other Christians, but an active participant in the larger local Body of Christ. Join us as we celebrate who we are in Christ together and spend an extended time in corporate prayer!

The good news about Jesus is not just good news, its great news! This news is true and incredible, and in Romans 10:14-15, Paul reminds us that beautiful are the feet of those who bring this good news and announce it to the world.

A lot of people “give up on God” because they don’t understand why He seems to let things unfold the way that they do, but a time is coming when everything will be made right.

Breaking in to heaven and running off with God’s best silverware sounds ridiculous doesn’t it? But what if there’s another way in which many of us are robbing God and missing out on something incredible that He has for us as a result?

Don’t be distracted by our cultural, consumer-driven need for immediate gratification. Be encouraged as we find what the justice of God demands for our sins, the grace of God provides in the death of Christ on our behalf!

Whenever the truth and power of God begin to fade around us, it is easy to lose the ability to avoid moral traps and relationship failure. Let us avoid the stumbling blocks of a world that would drag us down, and encourage one another to find the strength to stand upright!

Whether it’s leadership in our nation, leadership in the church or leadership in the home, when leaders are out for themselves, everyone suffers. Together we’ll examine God’s call to faithful leadership, and as it is Father’s Day, we’ll consider the incredible blessing that comes when dad’s do things God’s way.

What happens when we begin to blame God for the things in our life that we don’t like? Throughout this new series on the book of Malachi we’ll be diving deeply into the unchanging faithfulness of God and discovering together what happens when we lose a proper perspective.

Imagine if you took a year off from work. Would you starve? Would everything you owned be repossessed? When the Israelites entered the Promised Land they weren't only commanded to not work on the Sabbath, but to have one in every seven years where the land itself was rested. Join us as we look at this practice throughout the Old Testament and see why God would make this such a high value for his people.
