Our time on earth is short. We all want to make the most of it. There is one thing that we all can do to maximize our time. It is making time to spend with God.

Change is often hard to come by in life. Death is a part of life that we all must face. We can live in fear of death or use it to motivate us to maximizing our time here on earth.

The foundation of our faith is found in the reason Christians celebrate Easter. There is nothing more important to life than the resurrection.

The history of man is filled with watershed moments. The death of Christ separates history as we know it today. This one event from 2,000 years ago still effects our lives personally.

Have you ever wondered if God truly does exist? If He does exist, what is He like? The answer to these questions vary greatly in our culture. But what did those who knew Jesus actually see? What they saw can help us find the answer to these important questions.

The vast majority of people today are discouraged. The downcast heart leads to a crisis of faith. It is our responsibility to encourage one another as we have opportunity.

Christians are called to live a free life. Freedom results in service not license. If you follow Jesus then you will serve people like He served people.

God wants us to live with one another in mutual submission. This hard because it goes against our natural response. Jesus showed us how to submit when He came to the earth.

Eventually those around us will make mistakes. Our relationships will be tested. In those difficult moments, we need to be sure we do what is right. We need to respond the way Jesus did to us.

On Valentine's Day, our next stop in our Wii Values series is Love. As we explore love, individually and corporately we will examine three loves this morning: Loving God, Loving Ourselves, and Loving Others.

We have been invited into a new kind of relationship. This relationship is characterized by forgiveness. As Christians, we have been commanded to do for others what God has done for us in Christ.

We all have certain things we value in relationships. What we value will determine the decisions we make and direction we take relationally. True spirituality is measured in relationships not religious practices.

God has blessed each one of us. Take what you have been blessed with and go and bless others!

The heart of discipleship is to impart the life of Christ to others.

We are called to do good works to glorify God so that others will praise God. Our worship, both corporately and personally, have the potential to bring others to see the glory of God.

As we recast the vision at GracePointe and look ahead to the new year it is vitally important to remember that in 2010 we need to be salt and light to the community we live in!

Life has ups and downs. It's impossible to know what will happen in the new year. But we can be sure of who will be with us to help us in each circumstance that we face.

Are we giving direction for life? The apostle Paul encourages us in the book of Philippians to have unity among ourselves and to take on the same servant attitude as that of Jesus Christ. He humbled himself and demonstrated what it looks like to live as children of God.

It is easy, especially in America, to let the culture drown out the story of Christmas. Let's make Christ the center this Christmas. Let's hold on to the story of Christmas and hand it off to future generations.
