As the Apostles left everything to follow Jesus, we are to make a total decision for Christ. We place him first in our lives or we cannot truly say we are His followers

Love is often costly. It calls us to reach out to others in ways that are not easy. Jesus calls us to this kind of love in the Gospel today

The privileged time to offer ourselves as a spiritual sacrifice is the Mass when we can unite our sacrifices to that of Christ on the cross.
