We call Jesus many things, but do you believe Him still to be amazing? Awesome? Does your relationship with God grip you with wonder and awe? Luke 5 gives us the narrative of the paralytic man and the Pharisee's encounter with Jesus. The paralytic man was carried to the house on his bed. He left carrying his bed to his house. He was lowered through the roof, but he left out the door. He couldn’t come in because of the crowd, but the crowd made way for a miracle to walk out the door. He came to Jesus a sinner but walked out forgiven. Everything Jesus touches, Jesus changes!

Throughout the entire book of Daniel, the story is based on a group of men who are taken from their native land and moved into a foreign country. Daniel and his friends were taken to a land that was not their own, to serve a king who was not their own, and to learn the ways of a culture that was not their own. While we may not be physically taken out of our native lands, we, as Jesus followers, are not where we are forever meant to be. We’ve entered a world and a culture, much like the Babylon that Daniel and his friends entered into and like them, we have a choice on how we are going to live. Join us as Pastor Logan digs into the story of Daniel 1 & 3!

Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint (Proverbs 29:18). Many people are living their life (even spiritually) like that balloon. It’s all over the place. You don’t know where it’s going to go. You don’t know where it’s going to land. You are all over the place because you have no sense of where God wants you to go; what He wants you to do. When God gives vision for your personal life (and the church) it gives stability, purpose, and confidence. We are tempted to compartmentalize our lives; we have our business life, our home/family life, our spiritual life, our personal life, and so on. According to Psalm 139, God doesn’t see our lives as compartmentalized – knowing our thoughts, our actions, our whereabouts, even the things we keep hidden from others. Hannah went to the place of worship with a broken heart, but she left with a praise for the ages. They left their son in Shiloh and returned to Ramah with joyful hearts and great expectation to see what the Lord would do. What a wonderful thing it is when a husband and wife are dedicated to the Lord, worship Him together, pray together, and trust His Word!

Through Scripture Alone means that Scripture is sufficient for our Salvation, for a Sanctified life (walking in righteousness), and to equip you for every good work. All Scripture is the breath of God. When you read the Word, you are breathing in the breath of God. For anything to have life, it must have breath. Who is doing the breathing in your life?

Jesus did not become the Messiah, He has ALWAYS been the Messiah, the Christ. Jesus is the Christ (Anointed One) who serves as your Prophet, Priest, and King (three roles God required to be anointed). For those who believe, Jesus Christ [alone] is our Salvation, our Mediator, and is our ONLY message. Join us as Pastor Chris continues in sharing the wonderful testimony that we have through Jesus Christ!
