Jesus talked about "the value of the kingdom of God"...It's worth. How it's a big deal and worthy of honor. How it's worth and value and importance, once discovered, will automatically cause a person to shift their priorities. Seek first the Kingdom of God!

We have been given the keys to the Kingdom....us...the church! And on the solid rock of Jesus Christ we stand and the gates of hell will not prevail against us!

The Kingdom itself was not a mystery. The secret was that before the kingdom "in person" came in judgment, the kingdom "in word" was going to come and spread across the whole world "to save" those who receive it. Like a mustard seed. Like a virus.....have you caught it?!

How does a little seed turn into a giant oak tree? There is a principle at work. The Kingdom of God at work is like the wind...you can't see it but you can see its effects.

We can begin to enter into the kingdom of God now if we are trusting like a child in humility and faith. Pastor Jeff gives us 4 ways to help make this happen: 1. Laugh 2. Don't Hold Grudges 3. Be Honest 4. Receive With Joy

Stay at home parent? Nurse? Teacher? Bricklayer? Whatever you do, do it to the glory of God and do it for the Kingdom. Your life has great meaning and purpose!

Christ wasn't Jesus' last name or his first name. The word Christ is directly connected to the word Messiah..which is directly connected to the kings of Israel..who were anointed to be king..which is what the word messiah means..which is what the word Christ means. The Anointed One!!! Our King!

Salvation is not something you pray for...it is someone you submit to! Your King and Savior!

Pastor Katrina looks at 5 "laws" of the Kingdom. "Creation" - what we say we will see, "Reproduction" - we reproduce after our kind, "Blessing" - acts of blessing release multiplication, "Dominion" - we must take our God-given authority, and "Rest" - God works through you!

So what is the gospel of the kingdom of heaven, God's kingdom, about? The gospel of the kingdom of heaven is about this Jesus of Nazareth and His connection to the kingdom of God! Promises made and promises kept in the Messiah.

Pastor Jeff launches this series with "Christmas in August"! Gabriel declared 4 things to Mary about our King: He will be great, He will be called the Son of the Most High, He will be given the throne of David, and His Kingdom will never end!

When we walk in the Wisdom of God's Word, have goodwill towards others and honor the Father, our hope is strengthened. When you have REAL hope on your team, life's "tug of war" battle gets lopsided in your favor!

Esperanza Fundada is Spanish for a hope that is grounded on a firm foundation. A hope that's been built on solid ground! Why? It's a hope you can trust because you trust its source.

"Tik-Vaw" is the Hebrew word for hope. It is a seeing Hope. Which means, you are seeing something future wise and have locked onto it and you are confidently expecting that it will happen! This kind of hope brings shalom...peace.

Hope is a life source. A source for which life, vision, inspiration, and rejuvenation can be found. Hope not only starts life, it brings things back to life. Even if that something is in the midst of a dry and weary dessert.
